This was once my favorite band, they had good music, and very good songs. This album comes out, with the hope it is going to be something reminiscent of the good old Westlife, but NO. This is not the kind of music you would hope for from WL: repetitive at some points, nothing original, you hear it and you get the feeling of 'been there, done that', totally forgettable. Listened to it twice, then that's it. Have the boys lost their inspiration??? Do not know, but if things that are original, new, and different start come up, then that might not be in their favor on the long run. Backstreet Boys, had a much stronger return with their latest album, now that was original and ten times better than this album.

I do love this album, i love all the westlife albums i just think that being a Westlife fan myself that buys the new album every year that they should have brought out something new. The last few songs are fine and everything but i think that its not really the right way to go, bringing out a greatest hits album, now. Besides if your anything like me on most of the albums you get bored of the released singles,skip them and go to the new ones so this really is like buying a back up just incase you break one of the proper albums!

This album is different to any of their others, as it seems to be a weird selection of solo performances by Shane and Mark (not complaining on the Mark point). Some of the tracks do mix the vocals, but in large part the the Cutie Blondes (their official names) are basically missing. Even when there are backing vocals by them, you can rarely even recognise their voices. Having Mark singing, using more of his amazing potential (particularly on track 2) is fantastic to hear. His voice is effortless and has a sense of soul that I don't think Shane's does, however great. So again, not complaining here. It is odd though that the album is solo/duo/band/hint of 'boyband'. When i heard about a rat pack album i thought oh no theyre copying Robbie Williams but i listen to it all the time. It comes out even now 4 years later so how can it be bad? The lads voices sound great and they all seem to really enjoy singing it. Another cheap way of making an album i think redigging up some songs and cover albums do really annoy me but ill let them get away with it this time! ( i think fly me to the moon rocks, and moon river)

Westlife never fail to deliver a brilliant album an, here it is folks, Face to face is classy, melodic and easily one of their best albums. 'you raise me up' is mind blowing and beautiful. the boys duet with dian Ross on 'when you tell me that you love me' is simply stunning.'that's where you find love' and desperado' once again prove the boys staying power. Just a lovely album.

I havent listened to this for ages but just looking at the song names i remember them all, i used to fall asleep with it playing in my tape player.... im so sad! anyway it was great, World of our own was a tad better but its still great somewhere between world of our own and turnaround i reckon so probably second in the race but i loved it... one of the best albums i own, very easy to relisten to and brings back great memories!!! im going to listen now!

This is the best westlife album to date, great songs, money was being spent on them and the look and it was a huge album, loads of songs and seems to go on for hours which is great. totally worth the price lots of variety and just i think they were at there best to date, i hope they bring another World of our Own out, origional and fun, Fab

I recently saw this show on NZ television. I thought Westlife was so amazing I just had to have the DVD. This is not available to buy in NZ so, thank goodness for Amazon. My copy was in my mail box when I arrived home from work yesterday and I managed to watch it three times before I went to bed!! An absolutely fabulous DVD from an absolutely fabulous group

Once and awhile a song appears that you know is a classic but you cannot actually remember where it originated. I'm not sure who first recorded YOU RAISE ME UP, all I know is that when I heard that WESTLIFE recorded it I Knew I had to hear it and had to have it in my collection. The harmonies of WESTLIFE make this a powerful ballad with a Pop nuance that gives it a NEW feel. This will be there next Number 1. They've done it again!
