I agree that MOS are always just re-hashing old classics, again and again and again. But this album is better than that! Besides, if you have all these tracks already - don't buy it! But this compilation has a lot more integrity than all the other "churners". There are quite a few tracks that you wouldn't expect - it's not all commercial at all. Also, the album remains consistently enjoyable. Many other MOS CD's seem to start with great tunes, and then fade into a load of "filler" tracks - just there to pad the CD out. This one doesn't! I have to say that hed kandi have done a great job here they really have captured the sounds of ibiza this year! Unlike ministry who seem to just use the word ibiza for some kind of commercial gain and slap anything together and sometimes its debateble if it has been mixed at all. If your'e wanting cd's that represent ibiza this year with precision mixing you'll not go wrong here an allround top mix from start to finish... Wait for the sun to shine (it will one day) grab a cold beer and get in the garden with the tunes on and you'd think you were on bora bora beach ;) Niiiiiiice!

Having bought this album after hearing it playing in the hairdressers (!), I was not dissappointed. There are so many songs I recognised that I didn't even realise were Groove Armada's and there's a real mix of chill out songs along with dance/pop, so whatever mood you're in this album will give you a lift! I don't think this album will ever sound out-dated, it's great!

Ignore the politics of Mark Doyle, Hed Kandi, Fierce Angel, honestly ignore that. The track listing on CD1, the apparently "twisted side of dance" begins with a remix of an Adele track and then a Daniel Beddingfield song. Robin S appears somewhere on one of the other mindless cds yet again with show me love for the 345th time this year. Nuff said, for those of you with a tenner to spend save it for a kebab, this album is beyond credible and yes, I bought it

This 2-disc cd is probably one of the best dance cds you will buy in 2008 Paul van Dyk is a genius! To be honest, his mix of My House and South Beach was undeniably awesome other favourites are "I Retro", "Freakshow Disco no.2" and "No More alone" VERY GOOD CD you MUST buy it!!!!!!

I don't like every song on this album. Infact, I can probably say this for #7 more so than #5 or #6 (I don't own #1-#4). However, I have nothing but admiration for the way Tiesto mixes the songs, as I have mentioned on previos ISoS albums. This is no exception - the choice of songs, and the order on which they appear is just true brilliance, in my opinion. In short, cd01 is more vocal, 'housey,' and could be classed as cheesy, even though using the phrase 'cheesy' is cheesier than any music can be. I don't think it is, there are some good songs here that really do allow you to drift away with the sunshine and the associated connotations of a beach party, etc. Cd02 is very much more progressive and trancey, partiuclarly at the end. I buy dance compilations primarily to listen to good mixing between (good) tracks. The track selection on this package isn't awful, OK there are some tracks that perhaps shouldn't be there, but what annoys me slightly is the total lack of any careful mixing between tracks. Some transitions are as smooth as silk, whereas others are a simple fade down and fade up which all takes place in about 3 seconds, or just a crash edit, which I find defeats the point of buying an album such as this. When will MOS return to letting actual named DJ's mix their output?
