I bought this CD mainly because I wanted 'about you now'. The track on the CD is nothing like the single and I feel it's a cynical attempt to make you buy the single as well. Very disappointed.

it wasn't until Disturbia and Take A Bow that i became a fan of this smashing R n B star....and i saw this album for a great pice and i got it. Umbrella was an awesome lead single but it didn't persuade me to buy the album the first time round. but now this release was out...i had to get it....and my gosh is it an amazing album. it's the equivalent of Michael Jacksons' THRILLER album...amazing stuff. Madonna did it with Like A Prayer....now Rihanna the r n b equivalent has done it...and made it entirely personal and extremely enjoyable. while Britney Spears CIRCUS is gonna knock it off the top spot as the album of 2008(i'm sure it may do so as Womanizer is spectacular)...for now Good Girl Gone Bad is definately the ... This has to be one of the best albums I have bought in a long time. Every track is good usually there is always a couple of songs that don't do it for you but every track is great. This is my first Neyo CD but not the last.

...the record company left a few other underrated gems like "Never Too Far" which was the second single from "Glitter" and many more from her previous catalogues. I think the proper title should be "the incomplete ballads" or "evil marketing-ploy for stocking filler ballads" since Christmas is just around the corner. What a pity. Still a great collection but not an excellent one.

I'm not sure why there isn't an option to give half stars on these reviews, but if it was possible I'd give this album four and a half. The half is deducted purely because it's just too long - I think most people would agree that 18 tracks is too many, whoever the artist. By removing four or five of the weaker tracks they could have created the perfect album. That said, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there isn't a single terrible song on here, just a few that I could have done without. If I was playing producer, I would have cut Out of this Club (my least favourite, but then I've never been a fan of R Kelly), Who's Gonna Love You, Lights, Camera, Action (again, because I can't stand New Kids on the Block) and Love the Way You Love Me. This is probably the best compilation album of Stevie's work and that's great but I urge you all to use this as a taster of his work, there is lots of it and if you buy anything before 1980 you will love it if you like this. Unfortunately he's done nothing of real note after the 1970's and that was where his key work was done. The trilogy of talking book, innvervisions and Songs in the key of life are treasures to be explored in their won right and you should all do so, personally although songs in the key of life is seen as his masterpiece it was a double album brain dump of everything he was working on and contains material that is weaker than the shorter talking book and innvervisions, with Innvervisions representing his finest (non compilation) album in my opinion, ... Having watched Dreamgirls time and time again and it having become my favourite all-time film I was destined to buy this new offering from its star-Jennifer Hudson. I already knew that Jennifer was a fantastically talented vocalist, but I did wonder how that would translate into a music album. As it turns out I was wrong to have doubts as this is a brilliant album and in no way sounds like a debut, but instead like the work of a mature and accomplished artist. 1.Spotlight-This was clearly demarkated as the first single with its catchy hook and mid-tempo beat. I loved his 1st album pretty much from the first listen. I then went to see him perform it live in Manchester and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. I picked up his second album as soon as it was released and, at first, didn't think it quite matched his first, but it grew on me massively and it became one of my most listened to albums. I think he really achieved a unique sound on Once Again. After 2 listens of this new album I am saddened to say that I have to agree with a review I read in a London freesheet (a review to which I originally reacted with outrage, especially as the reviewer called it his '2nd album'!), it is too 'smaltzy'. I don't really enjoy the use of 80s-style synthesisers and think John Legend's amazing voice is better suited to a more organic Donny Hathaway/Stevie Wonder ... Read More:
