To think I bought this as a small present to accompany my mum's main birthday gift! I might as well have saved my money on the 'big' present!!! This whole 2-CD compilation has already been played at least 10 times over since I gave it to my mum 2 days ago. She has been thrilled to find some of her all time favourite 'records' by artists such as Bobby Vee, Marty Wilde, Mark Wynter and Johnny Tillotson (as well as the first record she ever bought - Elvis Presley's 'It's Now or Never') presented on this compilation. In addition to her old favourites, mum really enjoyed the new bonus track by Jason Donovan and Hank Marvin. Worth every penny!

Here it is, the NOW series' "greatest hits" if you may... I am sure it was a difficult process picking the songs for such a milestone collection. You can not please everyone and there will be dozens of songs people will feel should have been there. Perhaps a 4 or 5 CD collection would have been a better idea to cover such a long period of hits. It seems that each CD in the collection is devoted to one decade of music, which is not a bad idea. But why not have the songs in their chronological order while you're at it? To comment on the songs that are on it they are sure to bring back memories for people growing up in the 80s and the 90s. Ignore the miseries, this is a really good rockin' album. I have kind of mocked these guys for years - yet having heard this CD I am amazed how many of the tunes I actually know and really like. You'll probably be the same. What more can I say? It's cheap as chips. Give it a listen. Hell Yeh!!!!

How refreshing to have a compilation album with a selection of different genre that eases the boredom that develops with most compilation albums. I listened to this album whilst driving and it both relaxed me and kept me awake with its revisiting of various familiar songs and the introduction of ones i've not come across before. A great album!

This is a fantastic double CD set. All the hits and an excellent disc 2 of other songs. And the box set is rather snazzy. The track listing shown here on Amazon and virtually everywhere else is inaccurate. The first CD of this set has exactly the same listing as the single CD of Decade In The Sun so no one is getting shortchanged. It has 20 tracks kicking off with Dakota and ending with Handbags and Gladrags - exactly the same as the single CD album. The second disc contains a host of other great tracks. If you're a Stereophonics and thinking about getting this double CD set, buy it.

This is by far the best thing i have heard for a very long time, i have followed Paul Weller since his early days and i am still surprised and amazed at his depth and quality, this CD captures it all, the atmosphere the quality of both his voice and musical talents, dont wait just buy it...

This is a wonderfully varied, superbly sung, reasonably ordered 3 disc compilation of Webber's life's work. The versions are beautiful, there's the `classics' : Sarah Brightman, Jason Donovan etc. But this really does span all the avenues for his creations; Emmy Rossum's version of `Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again' is included from the film version of Phantom and Madonna's `You Must Love Me' from the Evita film. There are also some of the most recent stage versions; Lee Mead and Connie Fisher are both featured, from the popular Any Dream Will Do and How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? This is a really great selection of songs and even though most appear all too frequently on numerous compilations celebrating this period, the album would still normally rate five stars. However, I am surprised that none of the previous reviewers point out that not all the recordings are the originals as stated but inferior re-recordings that lack the nostalgia of the originals, e.g. Only Sixteeen by Craig Douglas, Wonderful Land by the Shadows and Pat Boone's Love Letters In The Sand. This really lets it down and there really can be no excuse for this from a label of the pedigree.
