Wow, great soundtrack!! A new era of Batman deserves a new era in music and sound to show just how much it has evoloved since the cartoon style films of the 80's and 90's! Zimmer is perfect to open up the explosive score with the harsh drums and suspencefull ear churning screeches of string instruments!!! With a definate style throughtout, the composers take you on a journey of fast paced drums and loud brass, to the harmonic, tranquil use of string and melody! Overall the scores represents a dark, suspensefull ride, that fits perfectly to a dark suspensefull superhero!!!!!

First saw Seth Lakeman on Channel Five's "My Music". Thought he sounded great and not too folky. I bought Freedom Fields CD and thought it was excellent. Found out that he was gigging in Peterborough where I live so went with the wife to see him live. Thought he was excellent. The wife rated him 6 out of 10. Her tastes are West Life and Wet Wet Wet. I usually listen to bands like Coldplay, U2, The Doors, The Killers, The Strokes, Radio Head, REM, Take That etc but I like a song to tell a good story which Seth pulls off in his song writing. The only downside (LIVE)is his guitar playing brother in the band who doesn't look the part. He looked too wooden and is riding on his brother's success. Reading the other reviews of this album shows that not all reviewers are aware of the band's history. Anyone who writes off 'Waiting for the Punchline' or cannot to relate to solo albums like 'Schizoponic' doesn't understand how music develops and grows. PLEASE don't mention Queen! Any musician is influenced by others and there are many influences. You have to think back to how 'Pornograffitti' sounded the first time? To me this new album is just as good and is growing with every listen and you know that when you see and hear them live it's going to be even better! After reading some mediocre reviews of this album I was shocked when I finally heard it and it turned out that I really enjoyed listening to it. It's clearly a step away from the first album, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. This album has much more of blues, kind of Nashville Skyline-era Bob Dylan, feel to it, and I personally think that their vocals work much better together here, whereas the first album often felt like one or other of the vocal tracks had simply been 'tagged on'. All of the tracks on this album seem to gel together very well, and although there aren't really any stand-out 'single' type tracks, I do not think that this is a bad thing at all. What a great album! By far and away their best, before they succumbed to Coldplay-type anthems on Seldom Seen Kid. Every track a winner, but "Very best" is well titled. Enjoy! Anyone that can get Stockport Supporters Club into the lyrics of a ballad is alright by me!!

I really bought this product on the basis of 'No Air' and 'With You'-having liked his voice and on the strength of a friend's recommendation-despite the fact that this really isn't my genre of music and I did have qualms about buying it-but I took a chance and I'm so glad I did-this is a great album with many of the 20 tracks being absolutely brilliant-there's barely a filler in sight! 1.Throwed-I could not think of a better way to start the album; electronic and uptempo with great vocals. 9/10 2.Kiss Kiss-The repetetive chorus and thumping bass make this absolutely addictive! 9/10 3.Take You Down-Another great track, although not quite as memorable as some others. 7/10 4.With You-A brilliant and phenomenally sung ballad. 10/10 5.Picture Perfect ...
