The first I heard these tunes were when Nickelback supported Bon Jovi on a concert - completely blew me away. I actually thought the energy and songs almost out done the main show. The album is very energetic from the moment go. Some ballads like Photograph, Far Away and Savin' Me are great and slows the the pace a little, but the vocals are powerful and keeps the listener glued.
The album is great and a superb follow-up to their last album. I really can't wait to see them live, I will recommend you do the same, start buy listening to this album. Awsome.

This album is a real return to form for Crue - its pretty much faultless. It rocks like hell and the boys are on sparkling form - these guys have been around for nearly 30 years and can show many a younger band how to play. The material is uniformly excellent, there isn't a duff track here. Welcome back lads!!

Lets face facts,Def Leppards last good album was Hysteria. This band was what started it all off for me so I still have some respect for them, but like Bon Jovi(which I own nothing by) they haven't put out a solid album since the 80's.If Whitesnake can do it then I'm sure Def Leppard can.
Its a shame because there are so many good bands out there that deserve more attention like Bonfire,Gotthard and Great White to name but a few.Why do people say that an album is good just because its been written by their favourite artist. If its bad its bad end of...I like the Scorpions but their Eye to Eye release was shocking and same goes for Judas priests Jugulator.
I hope they deliver an album for the fans next time and don't leave it too long either. ... Read More:

Now I am of the opinion that greatest hits/Best of CD's should only be released at the end of a bands career and be a much larger album 2 discs minimum possibly more. The only acceptance of this is after a huge event such as the death of a band member, where you could release a best of in their memory and to show their contribution to the band. Now Bon Jovi's release is a mystery to me as there was no real reason to release one other than to make money as far as I am concerned. This doesn't mean the album is bad because every song contained is brilliant but it misses out some essential songs that within this kind of Bon Jovi release should not be left out, but there still is no point for its release. Although `Always' was released here I don't know why ... Read More:

Every band (well nearly every band) has something unique that sets them apart from all the others like some kind of musical DNA - and that is vocals. Guitars, drums, bass, keyboards, etc; most bands have them and what they don't have can be replicated in some way. But vocalists, each one is unique and none more so than Disturbed. David Draiman's voice is so unique, constant and overpowering on Indestructible that its all I can hear. Each bloated song blurs into the next with its formula 'staccato verse/legato chorus'; the vocals mixed so high up that it totally overshadows whatever melody or hook may be buried underneath. You can only take so much for so long and sadly I have stopped digging to find it, having sadly thrown topsoil on Ten Thousand Fists and The ... Read More:

but it is a really enjoyable album. Unashameably influenced by AC/DC, if you also like The Offspring and WASP (The band 'We Are Sex Perverts' and not the KKK) then you will like this. The main fault lies in that it sounds like a album of singles, and therefore does not quite gell. One tip - start the album at track 3 (which is the first single), and continue playing through 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,1 until you finish on track 2. The album just sounds better - trust me!

Now I am a massive Guns `n' Roses fan and have been since about the age of 10 when I first heard Paradise City, I then went and got all of their albums from my local music store. Now the problem with this CD isn't the quality of the songs, tracks 1-9 and track 11 are fantastic, but...

1) Irrelevant because it isn't even a greatest hits. Some of the tracks are extremely poor and have no place here, for example `Since I Don't Have You', `Ain't it Fun', `Sympathy for the Devil' and `Live and let Die'. Now although these songs are good when you consider some of the songs not included on this so called greatest his such as `Estranged', `Breakdown', `Rocket Queen', `Don't Damn Me' and `Dead Horse' the songs included have no place on this CD.

2) ... Read More:

Forget about Justin Hawkins, in fact forget about the Darkness. The Stone Gods blew me away and this is just their first album. If you have ever wanted to see a Phoenix rise out of the ashes, this album is the next best thing. Cause thats what this album feels like. The whole album is just brilliant, and it is very hard to pick a track which stands out, as they are all very good. If you were a fan of the Darkness, I would suggest buying this album. I was, and after listening to this album, I honestly believe these guys deserve every bit of success they get.

This is not even close to being a 4 or 5 star album. Bands clearly have to evolve and usually when this is done correctly for every fan they lose they will gain 5 more, however Linkin Park have unfortunately evolved into overalll nothingness, the distinct lack of heaviness makes this record a bit of a chore to listen to. There are moments of promise dotted around the album but on the whole very little actually grabs you and forces you to keep playing it over and over.

The only really promising songs are the main single What Ive Done and Given Up, but once again despite the attempts to evolve it is very similar to the first track of Meteora though i must admit the simple but catchy guitar riff is a winner. On the subject of the guitars though it does sounds ... Read More:
