I have just got the box set recently, and have been enjoying it greatly. Not just that, my three daughters aged 9, 6 and 2 are great fans, and want to listen to it all the time in the car. And the two-year-old even says 'Rock' once she hears the first few bars of 'We will rock you'. Just goes on to show that Queen truly made ageless music, which still scores far above most contemporary music.

Arrived yesterday and I have played it over and over, hit after hit superbly remastered and a 'must have' CD absolutely fabulous can't add anything more just buy it!

Before buying this album, I was familiar with the 'big' songs from it, however after a few listens i have come to appreciate the true raw talent behind it; suffice to say im very happy with the purchase!! the case was delivered with a crack however, which is not the first time from Amazon to me.

If you are new to the world of Guns N' Roses I urge you to go and pick up Appetite for Destruction and play the hell out of it. This is a good CD if perhaps you just want a mix CD for the car or whatever, but there is less of their groundbreaking debut album on here then I would have liked. Songs like Rocket Queen especially deserves a spot on this CD.

i have the platinum collection which disc three has some good but some fillers eg remix wyclef jean version awfull truely!! and some other fillers they could easy do a double cd of queen like with pink floyd,led zeppelin,david bowie easy they could well my mam had this when i was a kid and i absoloutely loved them and still do if you like rock and dont have queen you dont have a rock collection simply!! its like if youre a soul lover not likeing aretha franklin or mahalia jackson or minnie riperton or stevie wonder etc buy this its fantastic all songs are fabalous!! happy listening

I think that ZZ Top are a very good band and they remain one of my favorite bands of all-time. this is one great collection and they made great blues music in the 1970s and the 1980s. here are my comments about most of the songs. GIMME ALL YOUR LOVING this is a really great song and is my 2nd favorite song on the entire cd. SHARP DRESSED MAN this is pretty great too, but probably my 5th favorite. ROUGH BOY is a ballad that is too slow and too sad for me. TUSH is an excellent blues rocker remains one of my 5 favorites on this album. MY HEAD'S IN MISSISSPII is a blues rocker one of my favorites, PEARL NECKLACE not my fave, IM BAD IM NATHIONWIDE this is pretty good although remains as a 10th favorite or something. This is the compilation which defines the most criminally overlooked rock band in history. One of the greatest songwriters of the late 20th century, backed up by a troop of amazing guitarists, with Gorham, Robertson and Moore blasting out riffs and, more importantly, some of the greatest guitar solos ever throughout each song on this compilation. This band is a monolith of rock music and thankfully this compilation shows this very well. my only quibble is that perhaps this shouldve been called 'the very best of' or something like that. In that case southbound and massacre couldve been added too, as well as the rest of the black rose album. Yep, Aerosmith have released many many greatest hits albums. I think this one has the best mixture of tracks of the lot though, a range of all their hits starting from way back. Some fantastic songs. Highly recommended if you've only heard a limited amount of Aerosmith music, as it'll give you the pick of the best of the rest, and you may well decide to look into their more obscure stuff.

You can't go wrong with Bruce Springsteen's entire catalogue, and seeing as how most are on a very low price you could pick them at random and still have a lot of nice surprises (but maybe not the Lucky Town era). This compilation is an interesting mix of tracks, but it barely scratches the surface particularly of the pre Born In The USA time and centres too much on the ones since then. There's practically nothing from Greetings, The Wild, Nebraska and Darkness, the huge amount of live tracks are also overlooked, so I think this is aimed more at the very casual listener who isn't concerned what great album tracks they're missing. A collection of songs from one of the USA'S most underated bands. Apart from a few personal choices, the ommision of Day and Night is a major error. That said if you want a broad look at Little Feat this album will satisfy your curiosity. Llowell George slide guitar hits the spot and the rythmn section holds everything together. They deserved more fame than they got and on a good night there was no better live band around.
