I think with this truly amazing album MetallicA can now be forgiven for St. Anger every song on this album is truly amazing and it truly is a 5 star album and the fact that it's a heavy metal album and it stayed top of the charts in the UK for 2 weeks straight says something!!!

Having gotten fairly familiar with the album, then leaving it for a while to make sure it wasn't post-release enthusiasm, I can now honestly say that I believe this is the band's best effort since their debut. While every Slipknot album has its faults, even that oh-so-precious classic first assault, those on All Hope... are less immediately obvious, and certainly nowhere near as off-putting as they were on the previous two records. And unlike the previous two records, you'll find more to praise than dismiss. For a start, I tend to skip on past previous singles "Left Behind" and "Vermillion Pt. 1", and mercifully, there is no such track on here. Shogun has finally hit, and what a hit ! for me this is the biggest thing they've done yet, you can really hear the progression of the band !, with some songs on the albumn like shogun really pushing the limits of what we all thought trivium could do and its truely amazing ! and it was made in country and western central (nashville) lol, its a great record with some catchy stuff but some brutal metal lines too get it, its so frigging cheep if you don't like it then use as a coaster but i assure you that wont be the case !! love and metal luke

A rare review in that I won't even metion the music. Search the web and you'll find that this is the world's second best selling album ever (second only to Thriller). You don't need a review, you now know everything you need to know. If you're still reading this you simply need to get a copy of the album and catch up with the rest of the world - you can't fool a planet - it really is that good.

With well over a hundred reviews for this album, why should I add another? There is nothing more to be said other than 1) When they next get together to get another series of 'Classic Albums - The Making Of' DVD's, this should definitely be one of them, and 2) Every 'serious' rock fan's collection should have this album, it is absolutely essential!! Say No More!!

I have just got the box set recently, and have been enjoying it greatly. Not just that, my three daughters aged 9, 6 and 2 are great fans, and want to listen to it all the time in the car. And the two-year-old even says 'Rock' once she hears the first few bars of 'We will rock you'. Just goes on to show that Queen truly made ageless music, which still scores far above most contemporary music.

Not bad but not great. Ony half as good as first album. Some good riffs and ideas interspersed with disappointing rock hero/commercial/protracted choruses. I can almost hear the record company rep saying - "great first album but can't you make it more accessible? Something the kids will like and sing along to. Then we gonna hit the big time - think of the cash...Have a cigar..." Less Nickleback more Sabbath next album please. I have booked tickets for Oxford gig in December with the Answer - may get blown out by the supoport act.

What an album. 10 songs of utter rock genius. This is by far in my opinion AC-CD's second best album after Back to Black. Highway to Hell is more like Highway to Rock Heaven. How can you not buy this re-mastered album at £4.99.

Widely thought of now as Metallica's masterpiece............but not by me. Still, this is a terrific album, furious, ferocious and chock full of the huge riffery, solos and downright Metal-ness that, by that point in time, people expected from the 4 piece. It has a sadness too though that this was Cliff Burton's last album before his untimely death. But for me there is a lingering problem with 'Master' - some of the songs are overlong! I know that sounds silly, but 'Leper Messiah' is the worst example, an overlong jam, with not a lot musically going on, apart from an 11th hour time change that is good, but too little too late. The other is 'Orion' This might offend people because it's been the 'signature' theme to the Metallica videos where footage of Cliff is shown ... Read More:

I don't understand why some people are giving this album poor reviews, it is one of motorheads finest albums from the 2000 era! It beats kiss of death easily and i found the songs much easier to get into than inferno. This album has some killer guitar riffs and drum tracks from the likes of "back on the chain", "One short life", "When the eagles scream", "Buried Alive". This album is deffinatley a "must have" for any motorhead fan, old or new.
