Music : Babylon Rewound
Apologies to the reviewer above but i really rate this album. I've got most of the Thievery's albums and apart from the Mirror Conspiracy This is probably my favourite. All the best tracks (except From Creation) from the original album are on here and the majority of them have been dubbed up to almost perfection. Most of them are rewound by the Thievery themselves but Kid Loco's effort is a blinder. If you're more into the dub side of Thievery Corporation then blatantly buy this and roll a fat one when u put it on. I might make enemies here but i think it's superior to The Richest Man in Babylon. So if u like it properly chilled then get on this.

Just excellent. A must have for any drummers out there. Mark Guiliana being one of the best in my opinion, brings this ground-breaking music together with complex grooves and delicate cymbal play (and of course, sheer brilliance). The deserve serious attention to be understood and the whole CD just grows on you the more you hear it. It did however take me about 4 listens before the music grew on me.

From the very first track this album had me hooked. I especially want to credit the vocals and passion with which the second track 'Get Out' was sung. (Perfect after a hard day!!) And, for the remainder of the album, it was music with lyrics political enough to really make you think, music with beats to make you dance and music to suit any mood. Great stuff!!

Music : From Detroit to St. Germain: the Early Works from St. Germain
Having spent the last ten years buying every single release from ludovik navarre in all his many guises, this album collection of early works was very welcome. This album shows how far ahead of the rest of the french producers he was with some excellent early releases. Moby's Play has no comparison to this album, both good albums but very different non the less. Even stranger to out tracks such as jack the groove, french, and my faviorate prelusion is mystifying. Musical genious!Well worth anyone's money!

This EP import is well worth the buy.. having all the variations of Space Cowboy all on one CD... some of them are really rare - a must for any collector. If anyone reading this is a fan of Jamiroquai and has ever seen a copy of their 'Black Capricorn Day' single ( also found on their Synkronized album) in this country please could they e-mail me. It's just I bought a copy of the single in a well known worldwide music store in San Francisco, California at an extortionate eqiv of £14! (I might add though,it was a Japanese import). But on looking in stores in Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and even London....oh...as well as this website and its other branches worldwide, I can't find it anywhere! Anyway back to the review.... buy it.... a must ... Read More:

This is a downbeat approach that tackles Latin, house and drum & bass manouevres in fine style. Superbly produced and not afraid to take a few chances, 'Minuit' keeps the Compost flag flying high.

If you think you can play a bass guitar, listen to this album! Robbie has selected a few glorious tunes for his debut CD and this doesn't disappoint in any way! An absolute fest of Fender Jazzness, Robbie explores every fret of his bass and proves he can write a top tune also. This is jazz to the n-th degree and I'm not shy to say this guy is as good as Mr Pastorius! I love this album and you will too - buy it now....
Total perfection!
