Hans Zimmer is certainly a good sountrack composer and he's done the job well here, but I don't feel the music on its own is anything special really. I mainly wanted to hear the Spider Pig track which always makes me laugh. So unless you really loved the music when you saw the movie, or are a very big Simpsons fan then there's not much here really. I expect when I've seen the movie a few more times it will be nice to listen to the soundtrack and be reminded of the various funny parts though.

Honestly, I have only purchased the one track, You're The One, and it's amazing. I just wanted to share that! I love the tone of Tomlin's voice, and I love the raw quality that is sometimes, but not always, detectable in his other work - and on this track it is really showcased and his passion in what he's singing is really apparent - it resonates with me because of it's Christian message, and also because it's just a great song in its composition and execution.

You think of many things when Christmas draws near, and if your anything like me, you will think of the Muppets. This cd is full of the spirit of Christmas with an extra helping of Muppet comedy for extra effect. With tracks like, "Christmas is Coming" and "Twelve days of Christmas" you just can`t go wrong. And although this is an imported disc, it works just fine on the cd players I use in England. If you like The Muppets and Like Christmas, what are you waiting for ? Buy it today !!

This is certainly the most amazing soundtrack that Disney has produced, proven by the fact that it has won awards for its brilliance. The music is absolutely mind-blowing, and there is something there to touch every emotion, from the dramatic "Circle of Life," to the beautiful heart-wrenching "Can You Feel The Love Tonight," the fun, bouncy "I Just Can't Wait to be King" and "Hakuna Matata," and of course there's no forgetting the dark "Be Prepared."
