Older fans with long memories will enjoy these tracks, whether they were at University or leaving school. I remember listening to Peel when I was 18 and looking forward to every Cocteau Twins session.

With samples, banging beats, glorious instrumentals and an almost James Bondesque feel it's hard not to fall in love with this cd. It's Air, Lemon Jelly, Zero 7 - it's truly fantastic. Admittedly, the one minute opening sample on Exercise does tire and Chocolate Wings can grate but the rest is amazing. The vocals on swollen and private road are haunting (to me at least), and Always is an emotive, heart bursting, damn fine tune - just like the rest of them really. Superb...

A brilliant soundtrack for a brilliant movie, it really blows you away.Perfectly compliments the movie, all the tunes bring out the emotions of the times and the scenes in the film. A must have for any reggae lover.

A nice album overall, though nothing 'amazing' really. Cd1 has a particularly mixed theme, with soothing songs such as Les Nuits, or the lovely No Ordinary Morning (wow). Cd2 has more of a beat, but the rhythms are still quite bliss. Good album, though for me, the best chill out album money can buy is Chilled Euphoria...

I find with ambient music you have to listen a few times before you really feel at one with the album or single because it's all about intricate details and sounds that create the atmosphere and that is something I love about it, looking out for the smallest detail that can create the most vivid atmosphere. As this album pack goes, it does the job and does it well, I have only listened to the first cd so far and only a few times so there are definitely a few more listens in need. I find with Biosphere, it takes a different approach to ambient music, compared to the likes of stars of the lid and the infamous aphex twin. The turns and winds of his atmospheres are compelling and take a different turn to your typical 'chillout ambient' ... Read More:

Well, I've only been listening to this album for a day now and I already love it. Although its not the Orb's best album (a la U.F.Orb), it has some quality tracks on it e.g. the big beats of Ubiquity, the techno-ness of Asylum, the bounciness of Toxygene (which wasn't commisioned from Jean Michel Jarre, that was just a joke made by the band). Also, the album has an obvious oriental quality to it, which also helps me like it because I like parts of Chinese/Japanese music. If you're an Orb fan add it to your collection, if you haven't heard them try U.F.Orb or Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld first, and if you don't like them then...what are you reading this for? Buy and Bye.

Genetic World used an array of different styles and sounds together, including hip-hop, trip-hop, ambient, lounge, electronica and dance. The result favored individual songs on the album, but not the album as a whole, which although enjoyable, sat uncomfortably amongst itself at times.
