This is deeply satisfying music, ideal for immersing yourself in the gothic world of Sunnydale's club culture. The sometimes dreamy, sometimes lively, yet always slightly dangerous undertones of this dark album have the perfect balance of the familiar and the unexpected. From the murmuring sensuality of 'Virgin State of Mind' to the pure teenage attitude of 'I Quit' and the baroque sliding tones of 'Transylvanian Concubine', this is one to put on, sit back and sink into. Buffy fan or not, this album is just good music with a generous 18 tracks of indulgent hedonism.

I listen to this driving in to work. It makes me laugh, even on a Monday morning. Trouble is, other drivers think I'm insane or laughing at them and give me grief, glowering at me from their cars. That makes me laugh even more. Give up on Wogan and The Today Programme and get this instead.

A few dodgy tracks as to be expected on any album, however fantastic songs by the kinks, henry mancini and the police, cake, bob dylan, tindersticks, dominic chianese, elvis costello and casey chambers. A massive blend of different musical genres that truly is fantastic, only falls short of five stars due to several unremarkable tracks, a perfect companion to the series and a must buy for soprano fans and music fans alike

Took this along to my boxing club and the guys just wouldn't stop. Normally they are heading for the changing room ten minutes before the end!! A must for anyone needing a bit of motivation. EYE OF THE TIGER BABY!

I got this a while ago, on the strength of an interview shown with Parkinson. Never heard of the man before this and being only 19 at the time, Ustinovs humour in serious situations, the acceptability of the situation without over consideration made me think a lot. Very funny, talented all-round performer that just oozed calmness and explained things as well as anyone. He was an intellectual man, often blaming the UK for not supporting the bright things of the country, and showed that bullying is often because of someone being jealous of anothers intellect. We are taught to be middle of the road people, not push to hard or you will be beaten up. It rings true, and in this audiobook, he discusses the various cultures of Europe and how they all differ. ... Read More:

This is one of my favourite Bond soundtracks beginning with one of the classic opening title themes, performed by Nancy Sinatra. John Barry's score mixes a blend of classical and oriental musical instruments as a perfect accompaniment to the Japanese landscapes and locations in the film. This soundtrack is perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Definitely recommended.

Hearts on Fire and No easy way out combine with the training montage music herein to make this a very favourable experience. The songs are perfectly attuned to the pictures they accompany; luridly colourful, punchy,muscular...bombastic is a good word, sneezy and grumpy. The vocals by Robert Tepper and John Cafferty im sure were very much felt and meant at the time of the recording,and that comes across. Some of the lunatic speed keyboard intermissions are humourous to the point of being profound, these songs have gravitas and are bursting with a very intense and desperate machismo somewhat lost with the passing of the eighties. I am not to sure if it is fair to compare this film with BJD. It has a lovely cuddly feel to it more so in fact. No baddies, good humour, not too predictable either. But one of the best films I have seen this year. It is certainly a girly film but that is not necessarily a bad thing. One for Christmas I think (the usual snow scenes filmed in Godalming and Shere UK) So if your a girl or a sensitive man who doesn't mind shedding a few tears (I am), you MUST watch this film. This product description is wrong. The track 19 "Still Here" that is listed in the product description does not exist. There are only 18 tracks on this CD. This is identical to the US soundtrack, thus rumors of the two versions being different are false. This is a typical Rocky soundtrack, with every single track on the entire CD being a butchered remix that sounds nothing like the one that appeared in the movie. Every Rocky soundtrack to date has been like this. The Rocky 4 songs sound terrible as usual. You have dialog mixed into the audio tracks, so you get to listen to Rocky's voice every single time. Cringe-worthy. When are they going to come out with a Rocky soundtrack that is NOT a "remixed" or "arranged" version?
