I wouldnt usually write reviews but i have to say this is possibly the most revolting piece of "music" i have ever heard, i know its for charity and it is the x factor so i shouldnt have expected much but this really is astonishingly bad. I know music is subjective but anyone who likes this cannot possibly claim to have any degree of taste or appreciation for music. It's a pretty dismal attempt to get money of people who are too selfish to just give it, they need some excuse to 'donate'. The vocals have probably been airbrushed but that really is to be expected considering the lack of talent on the show. The only acceptable excuse to want to listen to this is if youre a small child; one star really is overly generous.

With the critics who are ready to pounce on Oasis' weaknesses at any opportunity, it was always clear that this album would be met with greater anticipation than just about any other record of the last ten years. Whilst playing the CD for the first time, many of the tracks seem rather pedestrian. But, listen to it for a third or fourth time and the snarl and bite of "Bag It Up" and the overwhelming energy of "The Turning" will hit you like a right hook from the fist of Mike Tyson. No wonder we had to wait for over three years for the band's seventh studio album. I bought this album as a chance puchase based upon a magazine article that I had read about her. I was unaware of the hype and as they don't play very many of her songs on Classic FM and Radio 4, was also unaware of her music!! The melodies are soulful and her voice mature beyond her years. I just love this album: sad but uplifting - how's that for an oxymoron. Yes it took me back to my childhood in the 60s. I would love for her to cover "Ferry 'cross the Mersey". Comparisons to other artists such as Dusty Springfield are understandable but unfair. To me she sounds like ... well Duffy

After 3 highly successful albums, Coldplay have reached the stage where they can let go a bit in their music. `Viva la Vida or Death and all his friends' does exactly that, it is like their equivalent of Radiohead's `Kid A'. Despite the annoyingly long title, it seems now that it is widely accepted that the `Viva la Vida' is the much preferred shortening of the title. This is shown through the front cover of the album which doesn't even mention the latter part of the album title. `Parachutes', `Rush of Blood to the Head' and `X &Y', for me was a progression as each album was better than the previous. How wonderful that Andrea has left the "Vegas type" songs behind!! This album is superb and we listened to it 3 times in succession before stopping. Every song (old & new to us) was up to the high standard we expect and love to hear. These are the type of popular semi-operatic songs that Andrea can sing so much better than old Englebert hits!

First off you should probably know that as well as this 1-disc edition, there will also be a 2-disc CD/DVD edition released in 2 weeks time (November 17th). This 1-disc edition has an exclusive Hero remix that, as far as I know, will not be on the 2-disc version. All Enrique's hits are here from Bailamos right up to Somebody's Me and besides the Hero remix there are two more new songs, Away which is a ballad featuring Sean Garrett and the up-tempo Takin' Back My Love featuring Ciara. Also on the album is the Euro 2008 song Can You Hear Me which didn't get released as a single in the UK so will probably be new to most of Enrique's British fans. Just the thing for a lazy winter's afternoon, in a comfortable chair, with an hour or so to spare before dinner. Conjures images of slow waltzes, American smooth, passion and romance. Not the deepest voice, but a mellow, musical and pleasant sound, drifting from one track to the next seamlessly. A must have for relaxation, a glass or two of red wine, and maybe some alluring company.

Ok, this is gonna say KIDS REVEIW i am not a baby goat and don't act like an 8yr old! lol coz im not 8! duh! I havent heard all the songs on this album but I've heard "I Kissed A Girl" and "Hot and Cold" I Loved Both The Tracks! I'm just a little worried that if there are explicit lyrics, i mean i don't mind some swearing on some good tracks but i don't want to buy this CD and find out that there is some sexual/rude lanuage that should be taken into account or just a little rude and just ignored! Plz inform me wheather I should buy this because I Like katy Perry's singing and want the CD but dont really want to be listing to sexual lyrics too much......I don't mind 1 or 2 songs that are have a bit of sexual language but not sure if all of them are to be advised Read More:

Here it is, the NOW series' "greatest hits" if you may... I am sure it was a difficult process picking the songs for such a milestone collection. You can not please everyone and there will be dozens of songs people will feel should have been there. Perhaps a 4 or 5 CD collection would have been a better idea to cover such a long period of hits. It seems that each CD in the collection is devoted to one decade of music, which is not a bad idea. But why not have the songs in their chronological order while you're at it? To comment on the songs that are on it they are sure to bring back memories for people growing up in the 80s and the 90s. Most of the songs on here have become modern classics, the type of songs everyone will know by just looking at the title. ... Read More:
