Being of a certain age, I was around when Englebert first arrived on the scene. However, after the early years I found his voice and style a bit dull and lost any interest in his work. Having stated all that, what has happened here with this brillient new CD? A new Englebert is born, great songs, terrific arrangements and backings and the voice is really attractive to listen to. I can highly recommend this CD...go on try it out! Carry on like this and the man will be in the charts all over again

It's been a long long wait for the new Hinda Hicks album, but she's back and in full control. This is a perfect example of how to make top-notch RnB. Every track is full of heavy beats, wicked vocals and spot-on production. Highlights include the anthemic title track, the cautionary tale of Little Boy Blue, the sexy My Baby and the seductive Side FX. For me however, there are no fillers and every track allows Hinda to prove her place in today's urban music scene. Cop this album!!!!!

This is a brilliant album. Right from the first track it has you on an emotional and musical roller coaster. As well as the haunting lyrics and music from the familiar The Fray and Snow Patrol, it introduced me to new groups and artists. Tunes from Metric and Ursula 1000 make you want to jump up and down and shout, whilst the calming voice of Anya Marina and Foy Vance bring you back down to a mellow level. Each song compliments the next, and whilst I own 100's cd's, this is nearly always one of the ones I turn to on a regular basis.
