This is a bargain buy for anyone who does not have these albums yet. Caravanserai and Welcome see the band at the pinnacle of their jazzier phase with the former album being without parallel. The set is worth the price for these two albums alone. Love Devotion and Surrender is Santana and John Mclaughlin in deva dip mode. Impressive guitar playing but a bit aimless. Borboletta sees the start of the real decline in quality but has Promise of a Fisherman on and stands up against anything the band have ever done. Amigos is dross but you don't ever have to play this one! Five stars for Caravanserai and Welcome. Don't expect any liner notes these are bargain basement productions - but its all in the music man

It is rare for an artists outtakes and demos to rival their recorded work, but in Tracks you have exactly that. Any of these tracks could of featured on an album. There are acoustic demos, full band rave ups and up to date outtakes. Bruce could always write a brilliant song, but these hidden tracks demonstrate just how prolific and constant his ability is. Worth every penny.

The somewhat delayed third instalment in ABKCO's repackaging of the Stones singles from an era when singles were a dominant predeterminate of a band's popularity is by far the best of the bunch. I'm assuming here that casual buyers will not be the main market for these pretty but not totally convenient box sets of The Rolling Stones Decca/ London singles output. Casual buyers will go for collections like The Rolling Stones Singles collection on three convenient CDs, or the two Hot Rocks collections these latter being the source to go for optimum stereo mixes on many of these epoch defining tracks.
