This dvd has 10 Karaoke tracks on it. -Holiday -Like a Virgin -Material Girl -Into the Groove -Music -Papa Don't Prach -La Isla Bonita -Vogue -American Pie This is the only Madonna Karaoke dvd I've seen and its absolutely brilliant as all 10 tracks are fantastic the only problem with it is all the classic Madonna tracks that are not on it. Star Trax should definitely bring out more volumes of Madonna Karaoke. There is nothing off the popular Like a Prayer and Erotica Albums or the less popular (but equally as good) Bedtime Stories adn American Life. Sony seems to have long-deleted several CDs by L'Archibudelli a group highly regarded in the 1980s and early 1990s. As much of this was Mozart, that's fine by me, but the HIP approach to late-romantic music is always going to be a bit controversial. Although I have several HIP (or "authentic") albums, much of this is on vinyl in the loft nowadays, so you can guess how long ago those LPs were bought! As a non-musician, all I can say that HIP is all to do with cat guts and tuning or something like that. All I care about is whether the music is good or bad and Brahms' sextets are very lovely. Awe-inspiring. One of the greatest hardcore records to ever grace my CD player. Not only is it fast, violent and raw, but it's melodic and highly listenable to lighter rock music fans - for example those who like punk rock and nu metal. Highly recommended music with only one downside: It's a little short. But like they say, all good things come in small packages. Enough said.

Ok, yes, the Wannadies did that song that was on the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack. We all know. Not many people know that they have a career spanning 3 decades now, and that the reason they've managed to keep this alive, is by sounding damn good! This new album, already available in Scandinavia for a few months prior to the UK release, was questionable whether it was going to make it at all. Now it's here, take one listen and be hooked. The album is split into two sections ("before" and "after"), the first in the Wannadies style we come to know and love, and the latter section is more a mis match of the direction they want to be taking. This is a good quality production. The vocalists sing well. The visuals are unobtrusive (no random pictures of Z-list celebs!). The lyrics are correct and are highlighted when you should sing. One useful feature is the three versions of each song: with guide vocals, without vocals, or without the instrumental bits. All three work well. If you've bought duff karaoke DVDs before, you'll be surprised by how good this is.
