It's so bad, it's good. Sure the tracks are barely recognisable and sound like they were performed by an eight year old on a cheap casio keyboard, but you've almost got to love these "unique" interpretations of classic movie hits. Worth it for a bit of a laugh.

Being a 53 year old, grey haired, should know better ageing rocker and having listened to a couple of State Of Trance programs on Kiss I decided to try a collection and this looked like good value for money. Although I have only listened to disc 1 so far I am not dissapointed and found only a couple of tracks I would probably not put on my iPod. Although I would have preferred it to be a bit more on 'heavy' I am giving it 5 stars simply on the enjoyability v cost calculation. Whoever put the collection together has done a good job of providing a mix of styles whilst keeping the interest and if you are thinking of giving trance a chance this collection is a good starting point and will not break the bank.

There have been numerous AbbA collections (Gold, More Gold, Greatest Hits 1 & 2, Thank You For The Music, etc) but this one is a must. Not only does it include the extended version of 'Voulez Vous', which is a rarity & the UK remix of 'Ring Ring' but it includes all of their promo videos. Along with Queen, ABBA were quick to see the importance and the necessity of a promo video and although the videos are not exactly exciting, who can ever forget the video's for 'Knowing Me Knowing You' or 'The Winner Takes It All'. If you are new to ABBA, this is the one for you but it is just as important for completests.

I purchased the CD thinking that the words would come up on the screen. I bought it to use in an Elderly Day Centre so I'm afraid it will be of no use. Very disappointed

Ted is an absolutely phenominal guitarist who is often overlooked when there is discussion about great/best rock guitarists. It is probably due to his personality and character - I'm glad he is no neighbour of mine! - and his 'red neck' politics and sensibilities that seem to get more extreme and exagerated as he gets older, rather than his playing. His style of playing is heads down hard rock with no flash gimmicks - no finger tapping here. The songs maybe a bit one dimensional sometimes but listen to the technique style and phrasing of his playing! Another great compilation form Trojan, I have a lot of the boxsets and to be honest I havent heard a bad one yet. There are some real gems in this set and far too many to name as they are all good. Highly recomended.

B-sides and rarities collections aren't always necessarily worth having. In some cases though, they can turn out to be stunning; Bob Dylan's Bootleg Series, or Oasis' The Masterplan, which is arguably their finest record. Nick Cave, a very prolific artist, is one who you would expect to have a wealth of brilliant b-sides. B-sides and Rarities is not as good as you would expect from Nick Cave. It's a possibility that he simply chose not to record some material if he had enough for the next album already. But either way, each disc is unique, and each has a few gems. Sequenced mostly chronologically, while this album could be cut down to one disc fairly easily, this collection wouldn't be a complete experience without wading through all ... Read More:
