excellent knockabout songs from the grinning galoots of the Singing Kettle. the only thing that's missing is a printed version of the lyrics, but to be fair you can hear them fine.

If you don't like Phil Collins then this is definitely not the soundtrack for you as he provides all of the vocals but his voice works really well with a score that proves Disney hasn't lost its touch with the music. Most Tarzan fans will instantly recognise 'You'll be in my Heart' and 'Strangers like Me'and in fact from looking at the track listing it might seem like this soundtrack has little more to offer. However, it is the instrumentals that link Disney's trademark power ballads together that really make this album.

My 18 month old loves this CD set, from the modern TV inspired songs Tweenies & Teletubbies to the not so well known traditional nursery rhymes (that Mummy remembers!!) Great for travelling, with all the family singing along - even the older ones!!

Just a quick warning to anyone wanting the originals - this is not the CD for you. On the plus side it's very cheap and the quality of the recordings is decent, but most people buy these things for nostalgia and you don't get that when it's not the original recordings.

I recently dug out this CD (had it for ages) after discovering I'm going to be playing it. First of all - this CD is great for kids. It's a really fun way to get them into listening to classical music. I used to listen to it constantly a few years back. From the point of view of actual playing and quality, Peter and the Wolf isn't great. As someone else mentioned, it's a bit disappointing that they don't keep the usual instruments - I was particularly surprised to see that the horns have been replaced with accordians! The playing is often a bit stilted with no real flow. Admittedly it is difficult to achieve this when you have to keep stopping for the narrator, but it could have been better than this. Could also do with a bit more dynamics, ... Read More:
