Its great to get a CD with music that you were brought up with. I bought this CD for my niece and found myself (along with everyone else) getting more enjoyment from the CD than she did! Its great to have something to play that won't drive you nuts! My first concern in buying the CD was the songs were recorded with different voices and instruments to the films. However, the CD contains tracks that are identical to the songs that are heard on the Disney films, so the CD is everything you would expect. Recommended for young children (and adults that do not want to be driven mad by daft tunes).

This was the first of many Elmo dvd's bought from caiman-usa(seller). They are FANTASTIC. Both EDUCATIONAL and FUN, they are by far my 18month ols son's favourite. He would choose Elmo every time over any of the cbeebies dvd's he has. Elmo and Seasme Street Rock in our house !

Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace. Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace was the first of the "New Movies" that George Lucas has done, and he has brought back to the helm John Williams, Naturally! John has done it again! The music on this Soundtrack is of utmost quality, but nothing to surpass the originality of the first three feature films; Episodes 4, 5, and 6. The story for episode one may have seemed a bit juvenile when comapred to the first of the Star Wars Saga, but the music is still top Notch. I like to draw particular attention to Track Number 2; entitled "Duel of the Fates". What a wonderful piece of Cinematic music! I've been playing this cd every day since I was six months pregnant and my son is now six months old, and both of us are still enjoying it, so that's a testament to how good it is. As a musician myself, I'm fussy about what I listen to, but unlike the usual mozart cds, they've gone to an effort to find an interesting choice of (mostly) less well known pieces, which are well-arranged so that there aren't any jarring changes of key from one piece to the next, and most of the performances are really fine, so that the whole effect is, indeed, very, very soothing and soporific. I play this at night and find it very helpful for getting my son off to sleep, but you could also use it as general relaxation music to de-stress to in pregnancy.
