I bought this for my 2 year old son for Christmas and he loves it. My 11 year old daughter listens to it as much as he does, and we all like to join in! The songs are fun, varied and not too long which is important for 2 year olds. It turns out that my Daughter's Australian friend in her class, has all their CDs and many of them knew them and started singing various Wiggles songs - all at 11 years old! Most enjoyable.

I bought this CD based on the rave reviews it had received and because there was such a long list of songs. However the style of the music is not quite what i was expecting. I am no music buff but the style of the singing is more Irish folk/light opera music than jolly children's music. The words of some songs are not very clear and hard to sing along to. Also, the music sounds quite samey due to the style of the two singers. If you are a music pro this might be for you but if, like me, you wanted something simple and jolly to entertain your child and sing along to this is not the right CD.

My baby had always seemed transfixed with the sesame street characters from quite an early age so we bought this DVD to see if he would enjoy it. He absolutely loves it and dances along to the very catchy songs - of which their are many. Only downside is myself and my husband seem to be singing the songs all the time aswell. I would thoroughly recommend this for anyone with a baby from a year upwards if only for the songs initially and then the learning possibilities later.

the music is a mellow compilation of beethovens work, and when the baby doesn't sleep it helps the mother.

Two stories are truly gruesome and VERY violent. Not prince overthrowing dragon in woods to save princess, gruesome and violent. I mean creeping envy, revenge and sadistic murder of an elderly lady and a young boy (amongst other things)! DEFINITELY NOT for all children by any means. Just had to add this review so more critical (discerning?) parents could be warned if needed. The remaining stories are great. However, The Little Match Girl is very, very sad! But, so true to how some children today must struggle while those with far more than they need walk by. A deeply poignant tale. We were very disappointed BUT only with the two rotten ones. There is no way to adequately describe the brilliance of the films and special effects .... save to say these are definitely NOT bedevilled with CGI but are based upon the superb Henson creature workshop and advanced puppetry and animatronics. The second DVD of Greek myths featuring Michael Gambon (and the shaggy dog) is no less excellent - but there are only 4 stories and absolutely no extras. Surely there was room for some behind-the-scenes films about the Creature Workshop? This is a totally cheapskate and unforgivable oversight - hence the loss of a star.
