the best morcheeba album of all...well of all both of them. the opening is a little disappointing, but by Shoulder Holster, they proove again why we fell for them in the first place. the rap(ish) songs are a little tedious after a while, with possibly the exception of Big Calm, which is really starting to grow on me. my favourite is fear and love, which i wish would go on forever. best listened to in a darkish room, post-club, with a bottle of jack daniels, 5 friends and a big comfy sofa. or on your own in a room. whatever

I'm normally very dubious about such albums but this I have to say, is excellent. Well chosen pieces, performed well. Great for dinner, driving or just sunday mornings reading the paper.

Seeing that this follows after the excellent Chillout Session 2, i have to say i'm not impressed with this follow up. There are way too many tunes lifted straight from the previous 2 albums, and its not like there is a lack of quality chillout music to choose from! MoS also seem to have a knack for choosing rubbish remixes of certain songs on their compilations, such as Jakatta's American Dream (the definitive version of which appears on Chilled Out Euphoria) and Bent's Swollen. Why they decided to go with the remix they did rather than the totally brilliant (and in my opinion more chilled) Dusted remix is beyond me. On the other hand, it's not all bad. There are some great tracks here and if you haven't already got much of the Moby back catalogue you may well want to buy this but as a body of work it doesn't really seem to gel. I found the production dissapointing in that most tracks 'fade out' and (on my copy at least) the penultimate track just stops abruptly with an unnerving clunk! Love Moby, don't love this album quite as much!

This album is a selection of feel-good, upbeat electro grooves which range from slightly naff to jaw-droppingly funky. It IS greater than the sum of its parts providing you don't mind something that chops and changes every 2 or 3 minutes, as few of the ideas get particularly developed (even though many of them certainly have the potential for it).

What a fantastic album this is, I can't recommend it highly enough. Against the backdrop of Gareth Gates & most chart pap this is a diamond in the rough. Great songs, superb musicianship & not a drop in the standard over two CD's. If your into David Gray, Van Morrison, The Corrs, Enya , Eva Cassidy or just like real music then this is definately for you. I love the film soundtracks also ,the verion of Enio Morricone's Once Upon A Time in The West is superb. Buy this now you wont be disapointed .

An excellent collection of all Cafe Del Mar music.Indeed one can say that the acquisition of this title relieves one from the need to purchase the whole series. Including themes from all albums and giving an excellent remix of Cafe del Mar - the song - this double album clearly sets the mood for holidays and relaxation on the one hand while gradually increasing the vibes on the other. Well worth the price.
