For me, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without this album. My mum is a HUGE fan of Mr Manilow, and so we've owned this album ever since it first came out. If anyone is worried or a bit unsure as to the work of Barry, then this album, I would say, is a quite nice departure from his usual mix of ballads and camp pop hits like "Could It Be Magic?" and "Copacabana (At the Copa)". In fact, this is a very nice jazz album, with Manilow putting his own spin on classics such as "The Christmas Song", "White Christmas", "Have Yourself A Merry Christmas" and "Jingle Bells". I bought this album on the basis of favorable reviews on Amazon and a liking for Christmas music of this type, and was extremely disappointed. The entire album is lackluster; the arrangements are dull, the singing lacks conviction, the song selection is thoughtless. My husband, whose musical tastes are very different from my own, also thinks this album is terrible. We have actually thrown it in our plastic recycling bin, as we don't consider it worth giving away. It's the worst Christmas album I've ever owned.

My son is 5 and an avid viewer of many CBeebies shows. This CD is an absolute gem and gets played at every opportunity. It's great for a singalong, and inclusion of the lyrics would have been the icing on the cake. Still, can't be faulted. When is the next edition coming out?

A fantastic selection of classic songs sang by one of the world's foremost singers. Bocelli doesn't try to alter the sound of such classics as O Sole Mio and Ave Maria he simply graces these songs with his vocal richness. An important note, the UK version is a must as it features The Pearl Fisher's Duet which in its self is worth the price of the album.
