Um, excuse me, but Suicide IS pop! If you don't get that, then you don't get it.

Dear Reader, pay no attention to the moronic reviews posted below. Way of Life is a gem. As a remaster, it's a polished gem.

This CD is a wonderful journey back to the time of punk for all the people like me who lived in those years. The booklet tells us a brief history of each single, marking the fundamental steps of the sex pistols carer.
A must buy for every fan of SexPistols
GOD SAVE SEX PISTOLS

I put this in the CD player, pressed play and actually stopped and took it out to make sure I hadn't put in a disc by a dreadful 80's synth pop band. Sadly it was Wire!! Now I love the first three Wire albums and the latest two and everything in between has until now been a mystery to me. I wish it had remained that way. I mean what were they thinking? This is the worst kind of rubbish and completely lacks their sound, humour, quirkyness and tunefulness. Whatever happens do not buy, this is only good for an interesting coaster unless I can offload it on somebody else on e.bay.

What the 2 reviewers fail to mention is that it includes a very poor live performance of Straighten Out. For those wanting only studio tracks then this is not necessarily for you.

A classic sham 69 album. This is one of the most original punk album with the story line in between each track making it seem like the a day in the life of the average working class man. There are some real classic songs on here with the great hurry up harry and one of my favourate sham songs angels with dirty faces. Also, unlike thier first album tell us the truth, theres a mixture of music styles from the acoustic everybodys wrong everybodys right, the reggae on the pick up tracks and obviously the hard punk from the rest.

In my opinion, his is the group's finest album. Produced by Mike Kemp and the group, it boasts an excellent palate of songs, all with a brilliant sound. There's an international flavour to the selection with tracks about France, America, Mexico, as well as the Australia of the title.

"Was It You?" has a raucous humour; "Shakin' Like A Leaf" is nothing special, despite a good brass arrangement; and "Mayan Skies" is too disjointed under the Mexican sun.

Things get much better with the aboriginal well-written and well-arranged title track; the country & western style ballad "You'll Always Reap What You Sow"; the incessant "Ghost Train", interesting and fresh every time its played; JJ's rocker "Nice in Nice"; Hugh's rocker "Big In ... Read More:
