In my honest opinion, no other song on the planet can reflect the spirit of christmas as these songs of Jim Reeves can. They are simply heavenly and only valued by those who still spiritually active to some extent.

Best Christmas album ever this replaces a tape. Although on the CD I've just bought through Amazon Jon Bon Jovi isn't a Back Door Santa, he wishes every day was Christmas!

Barcode: 0602517503236 It's cheesy, and not in a good way. Brandon's unique vocal sound seems to be becoming more and more pronounced over time and it can begin to drag on the casual listener. The artwork is cheesy too as is the spoken word parts to the song. It seems almost as if the Killers only released this song almost as a tradition to see if they could follow up the success of last year's fun A Great Big Sled. It's not all bad though, while the verses may come across as lacklustre, the chorus is pretty damn good and suitably epic in that unique Killers style. Fans will lap this single up and to be fair, i think it has a lot of potential to grow with repeated listens but it just doesn't grab like so ... Read More:

Christmas with Mario lanza isn't just songs you'll listen to at Christmas Time. Yes there are Christmas Carol's such as Joy to the World, Silent Night, God Rest You Merry Gentlemen and O Holy Night which reflect the true meaning of Christmas. However, the tracks I'll Walk with God and Guardian Angels, whilst on a Christmas album will be played at anytime during the year! The song I'll walk with God was written for the film The Student Prince and is closely associated with Mario Lanza. As is Guardian Angels which is really an evening prayer. Harpo Marx, of the famous Marx Brothers, set Gerda Beilenson's lyrics to music. This was my Mothers favourite Christmas album, and, I've bought this as an early Christmas present for my Father. A good mix of songs and styles. This is more backing track than Karaoke so it wouldn't be suitable for a complete beginner as it sometimes takes some working out to find out where to sing. The lyrics leaflet is in very tiny print and in blue so not easy to read. The sound is good, though, and matches the original tracks quite well. There is no guide tune given - just the backing vocals (which I like but it doesn't suit everyone). I have only used one track thoroughly so far (Walking in the air) and have found that, though the printed words match the original in terms of where to sing and where to take a break, the backing track doesn't!!
