This is the REAL Santa and in my eyes always has been. 5 stars for nostalgia! Brilliant Film, enjoy!

This film takes me right back to when I was a kid on Christmas eve watching this film before being tucked into bed...I bought this for me and hopefully when my 2 are old enough they will enjoy this just as much... This film is BRILLIANT to watch. This movie may have not worked well if it was different actor but perfectly well with Bill Murray. Very very funny movie and it was worth it to watch but better nearer Christmas time. Also I have to say this film help me to bring out in festive mood. Excellent movie.

I bought this as I remembered hearing these funny christmas songs on the Radio One Simon Mayo show years ago and always wanted to get hold of the CD. However, whilst they are good fun and the quality and production is good, the effect wears off. You soon realise that people don't necessarily want to sit for an hour listening intently to the lyrics of all the songs. Still, it is fun and as long as you don't expect all your friends to share your enthusiasm, then it is still a good buy.

The Grinch feels like a movie made for two reasons: to cash in on Christmas. And to cash in on Dr Seuss. The movie lacks charm. Nothing really works within it. Carrey's performance is tolerable, but I think Seuss would be mortified at how they've portrayed his character. The Whos of Whoville are some of the creepiest make-up jobs I've ever seen. Although I'm not surprised they made it screen looking this eerie, since Ron Howard is the director, and I've yet to be impressed by anything he's put on screen. The one saving grace of this film is some really nice portrayals of Christmas-y landscapes. They do a great job of evoking that warmth and wonder of Christmas season.
