The follows in a similar way to the soundtracks of other Tarantino-related movies records. The big difference with this (up until the Kill Bill films) is that some of these songs have been made to order and not a mix of resurrected oldies and forgotten gems that you normally get. The style of this soundtrack is Tex-Mex-flavored blues-rock and includes certain pasages of dialogue from the film. Like most soundtracks that use soundbites, they only work if you know where they come in the film. To the casual listener or someone who has not seen the film, they do not add anything to the experience. This is a minor gripe however. There is some good songs. Another wonderfull DVD of Andrea Bocelli. I have been fortunate to see him perform live and own most of his CD's. The quality of his voice is always outstanding with great music/guests this makes great viewing.

i have bought all of the ramazzotti cds and E2 is exceptionally brilliant. The DVD is an added bonus because he is pure sex on legs, how can an amazingly handome guy sing as well as he looks.His voice is incredible, when you listen to the cd you can imagine being on holiday at your favourite trendy italian beach side bar but with the added bonus of hearing and seeing this very talented singer.I assure you that you will not be disappointed in buying this cd/dvd, it is fantastic, makes great listening and what more can i say...truly amazing!!...

This is full of really good catchy songs. If you liked the hits Hero, or Escape buy the album, then you will want to buy "7" and "Insomniac" and "Enrique"! I did and they're all very good. This is melodic, emotive writing singing and production. So many good songs, which Enrique co-writes. His voice seems to carry a lot of emotion and feeling. I must say I'm hooked on it, some years after I first heard "Hero" I'll say. Better late than...! Buy it and enjoy. Cheers.

This is a content masterpiece. As for some complaints about a cacophony of sound well the irony here is that this copy-protected disc sounds better once transferred via analogue phono leads to either a home-size MD or CDR or DVDR or to a traditional audio cassette deck. Intelligent people who care about music and sound DO NOT use their PC for any of this. It is so much easier to connect a stand alone CD player to an MD or cassette and dub this disc via analogue leads and output with the results being that the vocals and instruments become better defined anyway.

Brief review - Can not compare to the Live in San fransisco album (for me). But still damned impressive guitar work. Some sweet melodies and fingerwork. Much more attention to the overall compositions and less on virtuosity. Generally much more laid back than thier live album 16 odd years previous. But, this album has style, and I like it a lot none the less. If you're looking for the franticly extreme skills shown on "fiday night in San fransisco" you wont really find it here. But for beautiful flamenco atmosphere and noodling galore, buy this! 6....or 7/10 for me
