talking book this is a classic soul album i love it and play it quite regually its cool it features two known songs you are the sunshine of my life,superstition and lots of other good songs which aint recoginised so much radios have a habit of playing 2 or 3 songs by one artist all radio stations are guilty of it eg queen bohemian rhapsody,youre my best friend,dont stop me now and sometimes we will rock you but theres plenty of other fab songs by queen eg innuendo,these are the days of our lives,somebody to love and more i like a winters tale too off the made in heaven album fab!! but they do this with any artist play certain songs thats why i get bored by radio stations rather go and put my own cds on!! if i listen too radio its radio2 mark ... A record that managed to do what no other "urban" garage album had managed before; combine deep bass-driven hooks, intelligent lyrics and sublime melodies. This is a top ska collection, it contains plenty of classics including a few from the godfathers of SKA music, The Specials. Defenite stand out tracks are Rat Race, Rudy, a message to you and Ghosttown. Its cheap and you get over 50 tracks to chose from, there has to be some you like in that lot!

This is without doubt my album of the year. It's infectious hooks mean that you cannot help but sing everytime you listen to it. My favourite songs are probably Unforgettable Season, Feel The Love, and Far Away. If you like this you should definitely check out The Presets - Apocalypso.Its a lot more dancy but is also full of hooks and is another great album and they're also from Australia. Australian music is obviously in a good place right now.

I've got most of the GU Cd's and while all are good none have compelled me to write a review until now, both the Cd's are the sort of upfront tuneful progressive I love,If you liked Shanghai (disc 1) and Paris (disc 2) you will love this!! the mixing and production are also superb and it's hard to pick a favorite disc...Enjoy !!

i like many had not over heard of roisin esp since her moloko days!! her first solo album i have and had not heard off when i purchased this album but im defo gonna get it! this album is without doubt the BEST album that i have bought in the past 12 months!! Roisin is so underrated and deserves to have pop superstardom unlike some of the trash that we see daily on tv and in reviews! for anyone thats unsure about the album, go for it!! i can honestly say that you will not be dissapointed!

This was the first album I ever bought and thirty years later I still think it is excelent. It includes two classic Abba number one singles (Take a Chance On Me and Name of The Game), but apart from those every track is pure Abba gold. 'Eagle' sees Abba in full grown up mood and the instrumentation is just fabulous. 'One Man One Woman' gives Frida a chance to shine in full heartbreak mode. 'Move On' was always one of my favourites and has a fabulous melody, if you can ignore the slightly cheesy spoken intro by Bjorn. 'Hole In Your Sole' has tremendous energy and was performed live by Abba in 1977 as part of 'The Girl With Golden Hair' mini musical. Fabulous! I've not heard much of her lately but then I played the CD,s. I cannot think of a bad track. I find that I keep repeat playing most of the tracks I find it hard to move on. What is apparent throughout is the great playing from the band. Its great value and one that is being exclusively played in my car.
