Track 9 is good, the rest is utter utter tosh. If you like your music to make stupid beep noises or xylophone this might interest you....if however you like normal music steer clear. How people rates this 4 or 5 stars astounds me.....give yer sen a sheck and give Rod Stewart a try...thats real music.

My friend recommended this album to me, reminded me of lots of other great female singers first time round! Now I just can't stop playing it what a cracking album. Ps laughed my head off when I saw the bicycle video.I can not wait to see them live !

It is clear that jamiroquai are something of an unusual band. I remember seeing them for the first time on TV in around 1993, (I think it was the show, The Word) performing Too Young To Die, and immediately clocked the retro 70's jazz funk style and as i was and still am a fan of such music, immediately became a fan and went out and bought the single. The fender rhodes keys, the Stevie Wonder-esque voice, the funky bass and horns,and the sci-fi imagery and lyrics, all came to make a great sound and package, and whats more the first proper British jazz funk since Light of The World, and a great antidote to the Brit pop or electronicky stuff around. Well, the actual album is not that bad - it seems to have been remastered and, thus, improved in sound quality. For those that already know the album, the sound quality on this disc is much better than the original Factory CD, which, to me, makes it a worthwhile purchase... However... The bonus CD seems to have been comprised of dodgy vinyl-to-cd rips, most noticeably in Touched By The Hand Of God. It is quite frankly embarassing that such bonus tracks with pops and clicks exist (just try and listen to the first 30 seconds of the track), especially since Touched By The Hand Of God was available on CD single. So, three stars for the remastered album, but loses 2 stars for the sub-standard bonus disc.

This album is so awsome it was the very first daft punk album i got and it remains a personal favourite, it is a sound track to their anime dvd- interstella 5555 which complements the mood and tone of each song. After hearing this album i am now a big fan of daft punk and their music.

Tracks one by one that keep on getting better. Excellent to drive with in the early morning watching the sun rising enjoying the breeze. Worth getting in your library of CDs or Ipod. 5*****

I was still quite young when the disco craze hit the world, certainly way too young to enjoy what was going on in nightclubs, not too young to enjoy the music though! My favourites at the time were undoubtedly this band. I recall dancing to all the hits at school disco's and once at a very magical evening trip to a local ice rink disco, with the youth club. But as well as stirring memories of the the late 70's and early 80's revisiting these tracks creates thoughts of just how stylisticly variable, vocally accomplished and downright excellent this band was! They deserved a lot more credit way back when and they do know.
