A work of total genius, if you handpicked all the best bits from the beta band and lonepigeon records and played them through a black hole backwards then "Luna" is what it would sound like. Dont think i'll ever get bored of hearing this.

Anyone giving this album 1 star and saying "they are not exactly Paul Van Dyk or Tiesto" is an idiot. Do you not realise that Scooter are just taking the p!ss? All the tracks are proper Euro trash with hilarious lyrics "it's not a bird, it's not a train, it must be Dave who's on the train" - this is clearly meant to be tongue in cheek. The album is great fun and makes you laugh out loud not to mention tap your feet. The new stuff is fantastic and fits perfectly with "jumpstyle". Check out Patrick Jumpen on You Tube to see some Jumpstyling to Scooter, v catchy! I saw Scooter live in Berlin years ago and, believe me, they are just having a laugh. Don't get offended, just get jumpin'!!

Abba's final studio album tends to divide opinion, but for me it was a fine way for them to finish thier active recording career together. 'One Of Us' was Abba's last major international hit and is probably the best known track here. The follow up song in the UK was 'Head Over Heels' which shocked everyone by peaking outside the UK top 20. Was it all over for Abba?. Well, in terms of major hit singles it certainly was (in the US 'When All Is Said And Done' flopped also), but this album gave us a few treats and an indication of where Benny and Bjorns musical interests were going (ie musical theatre). Well this is my first review on anything,so it must count for something. I got this last week and must off played it at least 6 times in the car. It's a joy to drive ! Thank you Classic FM for introducing me to this excellent album,and thank you to the honest reviews from the customers who had the sense to buy it. The tunes are all different,not as some say the same,they grow on you. A tune has been going through my head all afternoon and is as I type! I'm not complaining. The only problem I have now is deciding what to get next.

PROVIDING THIS GETS THE AIRPLAY THEN THIS SHOULD BE A HUGE HIT, IM STILL WAITING FOR MY VINYL I ORDERED, BY DOWNLOAD I HEARD PAPER PLANES AND LIKED IT THE OTHER SONGS ARE OF THE SAME QUALITY, I CAN SEE ALL THE 13 YEAR OLD GIRLS SINGING ALONG TO THIS, AND I WAS BOPING TO IT TOO.

Michael Jackson helped out alot on this album by designing a new CD lacquoring process. This made it possible for him to give his free copies of this album back to Madonna without her seeming to notice. Of course Madonna being a bit wise and very old didn't really know what CDs are and now always looks confused. The 'immaculation collection' actually refers to the immaculate homogenised grey appearance of collected belly button fluff despite it originating from garments of differing colouration.

Ok so it's easy to be a little disgruntled at Roadrunner for milking the cash cow for all its worth and then some, but would you honestly expect anything less? But lets forget about any disputes with the record label and take a look at whats on offer here. 'The Blackening' is probably Machine Heads strongest release since their debut (not that any of their releases are particularly weak) and its also probably their darkest and heaviest release and on its original release arguably the album of its year, and if you haven't heard it yet where on earth have you been? Sia has a wonderful mesmeric quality to her voice. I, like most people, bought this CD off the back of her vocal performances for Zero 7. Although Colour the Small One is a decent enough collection of music, I have to say that I was disappointed with the vocal performance on this CD. It goes to show you that even the best performers need good music and top quality production a la Zero 7. If you are a fan of Sia's vocal talents from Zero 7, get Lady Croissiant instead. Her live performances are more confident and powerful. I hope she can bring this confidence into her next studio album.

As you may gather from this review title, I bought this simply because I have all the other CDs in this series. So, what's new? Very little, which if you like this type of music is a GOOD THING. A superb selection of grooves and tracks. If I'm being super-critical, theres a couple of tracks near the start of the album which I feel don't quite work or are a little weak, but once it gets moving it does what all the Hotel Costes CDs do - make you feel good. Maybe not the strongest in every department out of all the Hotel Costes CDs, but nowhere near the worst. Perfect for when you have a few firends around chatting, for chilled nights in or for Sunday morning pick-me-up. Highly recommend.
