As far as underrated albums go, this one is somewhere near the top of the list. U probably notice everyone comparing this to his other work in some sense, but that's not how a review is written. Sure it's not Tical but this album is worth a lot more than what most people are giving it. This is a very packed album, with very few RZA productions (just three). It's True Master who takes the reigns for most of the production here, and I personally, am not complaining. The opening track is the RZA produced Perfect World. Great opener. Relatively reminiscent to a Tical beat, easing you into the change in beats. The next few tracks, although not featuring RZA's production skills are still ridden wit heavy baselines. I've always liked LL but for some reason i had never got round 2 buyin this 1. I had 5 others though. I decided to buy this cuz its him and the cover looked wicked. It turned out just as good as his others. I took a bit of getting used to the sounds but it was quality afta 2 full listens. My favourite tunes are 'LL Cool J','Homocide','The G.O.A.T' and 'Can't think'. This album still looks and sounds as good as it did 4 years ago. I would well recommend buyin this album (even if its quite expensive).

This album is all round OK. Some tracks are dope, like really dope. But the rest of the album is made up of the usual Ja Rule album filler songs. The lead single 'Holla Holla' is garbage. If your an actual fan of hip hop, you would know it is not worthy of more than 3 stars at all. But i give Ja props, its more hardcore than his other stuff and his rhymes are deep. His flow is tight too.

I got this album after my friend recommended it to me. I put it in my car sound system and was won over immediately. The intro to smash sumthin is way over the top but this is its appeal - very dramatic orchestral music. smash sumthin itself is one of the best tracks i have ever heard. The storyline of the album is comically terminatorish - but again just adds to the confident vibe of the album. What makes this album so different to many others (eg: Redman Malpractice) is the consistency. It doesn't wane and you won't find yourself continually skipping tracks. In fact Last Dayz (the last song) is probably one of the best - certainly lyrically speaking. I hope we will see a sequel - I will grab it as soon as it's released. New York is brilliant, i love it-Jada is amazing on it as is Fat Joe. The beats throughout this are top class, as is Ja lyrically. However it is a bit commercial, although the weed skit isn't and i do like that. For Fans of-DMX and Fabolous
