Some years back by accident I was introduced to this Great Band - "Roxy Music". Its True, they have their own style of music unique to them! Immediately I loved their style of music and bought this and many of its albums. This album features a collection of the BEST tracks from Roxy music and of Bryan Ferry. MY favourtie is More than this! Roxy music dates back to about 20 years, one aspect i like about their music is the introduction of the sax in some songs and the organ,it goes realy well with Bryans vocals. Brillianty compiled into one of the best albums of Roxy Music! Even if you like other types of music, listen to this will open you to another level of music. A must have and must listen.

I am not really a classical music buff, but with my father in law being one its an obvious choice for presents. knowing that he likes the 3 tenors is a big help seeing as i do not really know much at all about classical music apart form the odd few bits world cup and films. I bought this disc for his birthday not really relishing the thought of hearing it, however I was pleasently supprised indeed. This was very easy on the ears indeed and shock horror on the whole i enjoyed cd there was the odd one i was not that overly keen on not to sure which one it was called i think it was track 4 Sous le ciel de Paris. This is the Standard Collection for the 20th Century Miracle Frank Sinatra,this CD was my Second Sinatra's Collection I Bought it from Virgin Megastore in Brighton,in my Opinion the most tracks on this CD more Romantic than other Collections.

From top to bottom, this is a great CD. Every track Michael does it perfect. I have yet to see him in concert, but should I get the chance I will. Probably one of the greatest singers (now) of our time. He has taken off where Frank Sinatra left off.

what a fantasic album. i first heard of the penguin cafe orchestra on irelands classic radio whilst on holiday there. on my return home i bought a copy of "a brief history" and my ears have been truly treated. if you have heard anything by the pco but dont own any of their stuff, but like this sort of music then take the plunge you wont regret it and just like me treat your ears.

This is the epitome of easy listening, as it evokes a time when everything was so less complicated. Some would say it tends towards the cheesy, but...bring it on.The songs remind me so much of when I was small and the radio was always on, and everyone sang along. so different from sitting glued to the TV today. This is a brilliant collection at a remarkable price.Some of the titles I was unfamiliar with, but all in all, a most welcome and enjoyable addition to my collection.

I have always been a fan of the Great Ella, and was bought this CD for my birthday last year. Although possessing other CD's by Ella I had never experienced her in such glory until I received this album. Although consistently amazing this CD is, in my humble opinion, worth buying solely for the recording of With a Song in My Heart. A fabulous song, a brilliant voice - a desert island disc!
