I remember listening to these songs when I was a child in my Mum's car. I'm not exactly an Easy Listening fan, but he has such a wonderful voice. His songs really are good and original. This collection has the best of all of his songs in my opinion. A very good buy!

Let me say from the beginning that I am no Neil Diamond fan. Sure I love his voice and he has written some great music in the past but.. too often its all a little "Barry Manilow" for me. This album is the exception and a total revelation. Raw, gritty and emotional, it has a depth and substance that we are not used to seeing from the artist. A real slow burn.

This music was relaxing and quite traditional. If you are looking for sweeping new age epics this isn't for you. This is better for contemplation, meditation or exercise. Liked it better from track 3. Reminded me of scenes like "Memoirs of a Geisha", "Crouching Tiger.." etc.

this album is amazeing my favourite bought it when it came out and is one i always go back too classic pop/jazz amazeing songwriteing and singing at its best love jesus to a child,older,to be forgiven could go on and on buy it classic!!

Gosh, this took me back to my youth, the age of great and good expectations - the late 1950's and early 60's with their unmistakeable sound and sexy undercurrents. Excellent recordings, great sound and that velvety sultry voice... Do they still make them like this? Don't know; but this double CD deserves to be in everyone's music library and to be listened to.

An EXCELLENT album - the sound quality is astounding! the cd is a big improvement in sound quality compared to vinyl (for a change!). My favourite track, ANNE OF CLEVES, is a masterpiece. Crystal clear recording, Rick's keyboards and Alan White's drums come literally crashing out of the speakers, definitely one to get you moving! In fact this whole album would rank alongside any Yes album. Very highly recommended, an essential addition for any Yes/Classical/Prog Rock fan.

A beautifully clear and well structured recording of early morning birdsong. Manages to be both uplifting and relaxing at the same time.

Charlie just gets better & better, this is one is just brilliant with all new songs on, and a bonus disk into the bargain, just fantastic dont have any doubts about buying Charlie's CD's everyone is great, and great for car journey's they are very relaxing and good sing along. Helena. York

I was never a Wham fan because I am to be honest a music fan - but this album changed my mind about George Michael. It is brilliant and brings back great memories - my girlfriend at the time ( my wife - now ex-wife ) played it non-stop and she converted me into a fan.

You can't beat the originals. Durham's stunning vocals and the sheer fun and imagination on these recordings shines through. The recordings seem to come from a variety of sources and the sound does vary. But the performances allow you to forget that. Such a shame that the orginal band's reputation is tarnished by association with the New Seekers. They were sweet enough, but there's so much more to the original band, and no other singer at that time matched Durham's vocals. The well crafted sound is lush enough to compare with Phil Spector, and undoubtedly influenced the next generation of folksy pop: is it any wonder the Australians adored ABBA, having been brought up with The Seekers?
