I am just about to order this album from Amazon. I give it 5 stars since it will likely have most of the songs that I love and maybe a few new ones. I listen to his music almost daily. I have listened to Russell's voice mature over the years, and I can say for sure that it is getting even better. The Voice is my personal favorite where he diplays his incredible tenor voice. Some say he can't sing opera. I totally disagree. His youthful, clear sound is amazing as he seems to reach incredible heights with ease. Not a well seasoned Povarotti or Mario Lanza, but different and refreshing. My other favorite is Amore Musica. Here, you can tell that his voice has matured. But he can still hit the high C's. Katherine Jenkins first impressed me when I heard her sing O Holy Night on the BBC. This new album is excellent, more in the style of her earlier albums Premiere & Second Nature then last year's Rejoice. I have listened to this brilliant album several times now. I am glad that she has returned to songs and music that suit her voice best, a voice that is growing in richness and depth.

As per most of the other reviews of this CD it's a good compilation, for a ridiculously cheap price, however i really only bought this CD for "Solitary Man" and "Girl, you'll be a woman soon". Sadly both tracks are taken from the Live album "Hot August Night", though this is not indicated by the usual "(Live)" on the track listing. So be warned, if you want studio versions of these or "Kentucky woman" which is taken from the album "Gold-Live" look elsewhere.

The single album was already terrific value for money, containing as it did Frank's best loved and most well known songs but the addition of the extra CD has made this an indispensable album for anyone wanting to add some Frank Sinatra to their CD collection - it just beats all the other competition clean out of sight!

I bought this CD for only a couple of tracks on it, but having listened to it whilst I was busy doing other things, I was amazed to hear such beautiful songs, sung in such a wonderful voice. I own a couple of Frank Sinatra CDs and I think Matt Munro has a better voice than Frank (Matt's is smoother and holds the notes slightly better and is more pleasant to listen to for a pro-longed period of time, compared to Frank) Some of the songs are sad-but beautiful, some very Sinatra-a-like, but still nice to listen to if you like this kind of style. Almost all the CD is good. A pleasant surprise, considering I only wanted a couple of tracks on it!

I have grown to love Katherine Jenkins during the past few months for I think she is one of the best singers around at the moment. I bought this CD for one reason, and one reason only, the track Vide Cor Meum. This duet was used in the film Hannibal, and also during the death scene of the Leper King Baldwin IV in the film Kingdom of Heaven. Here, Katherine sings the duet along with the Welsh singer Rhys Meiron. It is a divine work, beautifully played and sung. But, to my absolute joy, I also discovered that this CD has numerous other wonderful tracks which are a joy to listen to. I will admit that when I first saw the track listing for this CD, I felt disappointed. "Come on!" I thought, "Katherine should be more original than this! Practically every soprano records 'O Mio Babbino Caro' at one point or another, and here are two common songs from the classical crossover genre, 'Nella Fantasia' and 'The Prayer'. Should I even invest in something that will only be a re-hash of things I have already heard many times?" In the end however, I decided that even with the unimaginative song selections, I would buy this CD. I am very glad I did! There are so many gems here that I now consider this Katherine's best album.
