This is an ace collection of songs which finds Prefuse 73 in more upbeat mood using fun noises, beep and squeaks, with wicked hip-hop beats. Of course, it sounds unmistakeably like Prefuse 73 (nobody else could come close to his genius), but in comparison to his long player 'Vocal Studies...' this is fresh and vibrant, not menacing and heavy...Well worth a punt.

Hmmmm, firstly was expecting much more of this, as Entroducing is superb, and this is nothing like it. Very bland unfortunately. Bizarrely it seems to be very influenced by early police and depeche mode. its easy to imagine andy summers playing guitar, then moving swiftly to Depeche Mode instrumentals. The samples also seem like an afterthought tacked on with no real relevance.

The first thing I'll say to make things easy for anyone who bought Mind Over Matter and liked it is that you'll like this even more. As at heart it is more of the same, same type of lyrics, same type of beats. A problem comes when you find it is almost too similar and feel like you wouldn't know which was released first as they havn't made anything to catch up with the times. But I like it anyway. But now for anyone who hasn't heard Mind Over Matter. Basically if you like underground hip hop then you will like this, which provides a sort of cross between Binary Star and Jedi Mind Tricks and adding in the occasional Drum & Bass. If, however you are not into the underground scene but mainstream hip hop, this is likeable enough as an introductary ... Read More:
