Amazingly good album, every track is strong, no filler, very inspired, if you're new to AC/DC start here along with Highway To Hell.

I'm not sure why there isn't an option to give half stars on these reviews, but if it was possible I'd give this album four and a half. The half is deducted purely because it's just too long - I think most people would agree that 18 tracks is too many, whoever the artist. By removing four or five of the weaker tracks they could have created the perfect album. That said, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there isn't a single terrible song on here, just a few that I could have done without. If I was playing producer, I would have cut Out of this Club (my least favourite, but then I've never been a fan of R Kelly), Who's Gonna Love You, Lights, Camera, Action (again, because I can't stand New Kids on the Block) and Love the Way You Love Me. ... OK I love Silent Alarm as well. It's one of my all time favourite albums and It gets a run out on the iPod at least once a week. Having said that, bands need to evolve and the fans need to evolve with them. Intimacy is the perfect blend of old and new Bloc Party. Classic BP tracks like "One Month Off" and "Ares" are mixed in with tracks such as "Mercury" and "Biko" that reach almost electronica levels. The combination of old and new means this is, by far my favourite Bloc Party album so far. Ion Square is a 6 minute masterpiece and would be worth the money on it's own. Please get past the Silent Alarm hang-ups and give this superb album a play - it will not let you down. Silent Alarm

Some good tracks here by what are essentially amateur choirs - they really can entertain. I LOVE Cry Me A River by Sense of Sound!!!!

This CD has a conservative song selection and a conservative style, which some people may not like. However, the across the board musicianship of this group is superb!! The pitch and harmonies are vastly superior to Il Divo for example, but you have to be able to 'hear' perfect pitch and harmonies and really care about quality, to know the difference.--:)---We don't have classically trained musicians like this in the USA, putting out albums like this anymore, so you don't know how spoiled you are!!-----Blake takes its time in developing its songs and harmonies, and does not AT ALL cater to what will sell!!---They are musicians first and foremost, and if you cannot handle a group's conservative choice to be fantastic singers FIRST before what will ... This is a fantastic double CD set. All the hits and an excellent disc 2 of other songs. And the box set is rather snazzy. The track listing shown here on Amazon and virtually everywhere else is inaccurate. The first CD of this set has exactly the same listing as the single CD of Decade In The Sun so no one is getting shortchanged. It has 20 tracks kicking off with Dakota and ending with Handbags and Gladrags - exactly the same as the single CD album. The second disc contains a host of other great tracks. If you're a Stereophonics and thinking about getting this double CD set, buy it.
