Kanye wests latest album is officially his worse.
He has moved away from what he is good at, rapping, and gone to something that is really not his scene, singing.
I am really disappointed with this.
Kanyes change is rubbish.

I have just got the box set recently, and have been enjoying it greatly. Not just that, my three daughters aged 9, 6 and 2 are great fans, and want to listen to it all the time in the car. And the two-year-old even says 'Rock' once she hears the first few bars of 'We will rock you'. Just goes on to show that Queen truly made ageless music, which still scores far above most contemporary music.

It has been a turbulent time for miss Spears, but it's time to take note, this time Britney is most definitely back, and this time she's not holding back.
Following on from her previous attempt at a comeback, Blackout, Britney has put a little more effort in. this time She sounds much more engaged and it's obvious she has had much more input on the work she has produced.
She often falls into the trap of producing an album which contains the same song 12 times over, the variation on this record compared to the 11 tracks of constant electro pop on Blackout is astonishing. She takes many more chances and it more than pays off. We have slow and fast tracks; happy and sad, bouncy and sultry... it's all good!

If you have found this then i imagine you are already familiar with the original...this is a longtime coming then- the album opens with 3 of arguably the best, and certainly most lively in this case, tracks on the original album, Chan Chan, De Camino A la Vereda, y El Cuarto de Tula--the energy and vibrancy from the off is incredible, it sends shivers down your spine. Ibrahim Ferrer is in absolutely amazing form, as are everyone else; you can tell they are all enjoying it immensely. And the enery and rapture from the audience only adds to it. Just buy it and see.

For months I had been waiting for some new kind of music to place on my ipod and I became bored of most mainstream chart music.

Blake is a breath of fresh air. Okay, so it is a bit operatic, but they are far better than Il Divo. My own personal favourites is their version of "Take My Breath Away", "Gladiator" and "Vide Cor Meum" (which is from the movie Hannibal). The songs that are sung in Italian are a treat, especially if you like to romance things up with your missus... I would say this is a great CD for Christmas as well.

As someone who had managed to avoid Zero Seven and Sia until now, this is a revelation. Intrigued by a stunning performance on Jools Holland's "Later", I decided to gamble on the album. A worthwhile gamble? Oh,yes! What we have here is a real singer, with passion and power combined with quirky rhythms and lovely melodies, sometimes jaunty, sometimes offbeat, but often heartbreaking. Reference points? Kate Bush for sure- but she's no imitation. her yearning, emotional vocals sometimes bring the Pretenders to mind- but then, when you listen to her version of "I go to Sleep",included here, all you hear is Sia.

Unique and engaging, full of that oddness which makes Tori Amos and Bjork so appealing, yet more grounded than either of those. And her voice can ... Read More:

This is my favourite play at the moment, I guess that I am a little late in trying Mr Buble's music, but I am a convert. Think of a nicely warmed, quality single malt, good crystal glass, this is that smooth, just slides down, leaving a pleasant glow behind. Good in the car, great on the MP3 player, nice in the background during dinner with friends. This album has a great selection of tracks, well known classics of the genre, and others, new to me at least. Just try it!

All Around The World Records has made a sensational album with three sensational teens; Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer.
With Dappy's catchy raps, Fazer's smoother raps and Tulisa'a powerhouse R&B style vocals, this album is the start of something great for the Dynamite Trio.

1. Intro- Dappy's explanation of the album's name.

2. Wouldn't You- A hypnotic smooth opening to the groups talent, Tulisa leads this stunner!

3. Strong Again- A catchy, uptempo and melodic piece of work, this is definately single material.

4. Don't Get Nine- One hell of a catchy track, Tulisa leads this 'Box Fresh' material, tellin all of u, that u only get one chance not nine. Includes an argument between the boy's and Tulisa.

On first listen, eveything is here that you expect from a Tracy Chapman album: an obvious sincerity of thought and expression, love and politics and reflections. What makes this album so convincingly good, is the music of the musicians involved. Rob Burger, Carla Kihlstedt and all the others do not deliver some usually well-done studio work, they comment and enrich the songs in very interesting ways. Producer Larry Klein is looking for a different setting for every single track without lacking coherence. it's a flow from start to end. Chapman's singing is more reluctant than before, a win-win-situation for dynamics and colors! So, every song, even the most simple love songs, own their little surprises. Tracy Chapman is a great story teller with a warm tone and good ... Read More:

I'm a longtime fan of Eva Cassidy's wonderful voice and style. I think I have all her albums and those albums provide a lot of the background music for my life. Her all-too-soon death took a marvelous talent from this world.

That said, though, I found this album a bit disappointing. I think that with every now-deceased beloved artist, there exists a file somewhere of recorded songs that were considered for earlier albums and put aside because they weren't quite good enough. Then, when the artist dies, there's a scramble to unearth these items and create an album from them. It doesn't always work: those songs were filed away for good reason.

And while I find this album enjoyable, that seems to be the case here. I don't find it nearly as ... Read More:
