this is not one of DMX's best albums but it is still good. the lyrics he has on this album are amazong where does he think of them! i have all of his other albums i jus hope he realeses a new one soon because i wanna know if he is doing any new material i would definatly buy this for anyone who wanted it it is AMAZING!

This is pretty frustrating. I confess to having resisted the allure of Eminem for some years. He struck me as an advocate of violence, a misogynist, a homophobe and general all round bad egg. I bought this album, more than anything else, just to see what all the fuss is about. I'd love to say I hate it and that listening confirmed all my prejudices. Sure all of the factors I list above are present, not to mention his massive ego, his supreme arrogance and his exploitation of those around him for financial gain. Despite this, the album is a gem. The album boasts many good tracks starting with all i have in this world (Japanese Denim) Ft Mannie Fresh, The Boss With T-Pain and Speedin' Ft R. Kelly. The album also features Trey songz on 'This is the life', Nelly on 'Here I am', and Jay-Z on 'Maybach Music'. An allstar cast feature on 'Luxury Tax', including Lil' Wayne, Young Jeezy & Trick Daddy. The album ends with a fast-paced 'Reppin' My City, Ft Triple C's And Brisco, and then 'I'm Only Human'. This is a good album, but not brilliant. Very good to have on in the background. Quite old skool highlighting pacs early carrer, songs from 2pacalypse, Strictly 4 my N.I.*.G.A.Z and thug life are featured and are good. I think the best track is realest killaz with 50 cent, this is quite new skool. Pac is good hear, but not essential album. R.I.P. Pac

This was a great concert to listen to, Jay-Z was amazing, the Roots held it together. Its a shame that this very well shot and lit concert isn't available. I could have sworn that it was originally filmed in HD. Hope Jay-Z and MTV will release it in the near future.

To be honest Luda has been rated the best n has sold more records than anyone else ever, even elvis n the beatles!!! This album is tip top of the hip hop scene and all of his albums after this have not measured up. As this is his first album its a litte more grimey and has a more dirty south feel than his later more commercial albums. Every track is good and the skits are funny too. There are a few outstandin tracks that you will of heard before and be familiar with but if you dont own this album your missin out on some excellent tracks and the freestyle feat 4-ize, (mouthing off) is brilliant. The only tracks you'll be skippin will be the skits, 1st & 10th n maybe whats your fantasy (as it was killed afta release) but every track is worth listenin 2.

I am heavily into rap and i have many of the classic artist albums such as dr dre, noop dogg, nwa, eazy e, tupac and the rest, im mainly into mainstream but ive gone down to the outside now. This album is absoutely stunning, there are around 10 tracks i could listen to over and over again. Forget 50 cent, forget even eminem! This is the real stuff and possibly one of the best albums ever made in any music genre.

The thing that most people are failing to understand with Soulja is what he's about and who his target audience is. His songs, maily dance tracks are aimed at people of his own age (17 years). He isnt the most talented lyrically but is definately one of the best at what he does, a good Snap/Crank music artist, which is a genre branching off of hip hop, so to say hip hop is dead because of artists like Soulja Boy is just foolish as what he does doesnt even cover the whole of hip hop. Hip hop has become a genre that has genres within itself. What Soulja Boy does is just one of those genres, mainly targeted at the new generation so don't blame Soulja for 30 year old men crankin' the Soulja Boy! Over all its a solid first with hot tracks on it.
