I had been a fan of X for some time, and this album shows him at his best-very gangsta flow and i like the beats. His unique voice, which has recently been copied by Ja Rule, really suits this album and like any other X album it is quite dark. For Fans of-Early Ja Rule (Venni Vetti Vecci)

Uh, first to the person before me in the reveiws, this is a CD not a DVD of Wrestlemania..... On to the music anyhow, it's a good mix although the wrestlers names are not written with the track listings so it might out some lesser wrestling fans off, if your a fan of rock music in general or the bands that appear on this compilation then it is for you :-)

If someone was to write a full and comprehensive history of hip hop music then Big Daddy Kane's name would be in the hall of fame. Although the focus of his music shifted slightly with his later albums to an R+B sound, this album along with his first rates as an instant hip hop classic. Lyrically Big Daddy Kane always represented, and combined with his image as the "Smooth Operator" presented the perfect package. If you want to listen to well crafted beats by the likes of Marley Marl, Prince Paul and the Kane himself look no further as the album delivers the goods. Like several of my fellow reviewers I first heard the Dead Prez track 'Hip Hop' on Fabriclive 22: The Scratch Perverts. Even though I didn't necessarily agree with the lyrics I loved the massive bassline and tight production on this track so I went out and bought their album. Apart from that one great track there is nothing else on here that appealed to me. In fact just by reading the sleeve notes I got a pretty good idea what the content on most of the raps would be. There is a really ugly racist undertone throughout the album and the promising talent is spoiled by ill informed politics. Last time I tried to review this album, amazon refused to publish it so maybe this review will never materialise either. I hope it does though because ... Read More:

Nas is a true hip hop legend and he diffently scores on this one,theres not a bad word i can say about this album is hot and lyricley its one of the best but what do you expect its NAS,love it 10/10

"What more can I Say, I wouldnt be here today if the old school didnt pave the way". Damn Straight And for me this is one of the top 5 old school hiphop albums of all time! And i Love my 80's and early 90's Hiphop. You should have this by now, if not, buy it ASAP and just pretend you've had it before you get mocked! PEACE

Dr Dre is the best producer and one of the best rappers in the game. his productions are brilliant and his rhymes are top quality, the Chronic shows that. With Nuttin but a g thang he has produced one of the best rap songs ever, and a song that changed the game. He has introduced one of the most famous styles of hip hop with The Chronic, and that is G Funk. Also Deeeez Nuts is hilarious! I used to think this was over rated, i have come to realize that it certainly isn't! Great beats and great lyrics, as well as great guests! What can I say? I bought this thinking it may offer new ways of hearing Bob Marley. The album is lazy, poorly thought out and, some of the covers are just plain insulting. If you want to listen to Bob Marley buy Bob Marley but please avoid this, its an insulting embarrasment.
