After conquering the rap world on the 1st wu tang clan album, mef was one of the 1st wu members to go solo.Tical is hands down, 1 of the best wu solo cds i've ever heard. The concept of the album is a dark, gothic tone produced by the rza which will keep you hooked straight away! It starts with a strange little flute melody which keeps with the albums tone and then launches into the title track. Not the best track on there, but like all of de songs on this, but is pretty damn good. Track 2 biscuits,is again, not the best, but still amazing.3;Bring the pain is 1 of the standouts on this cd and is an amazing track for mef.All i need is a tribute to his girlfriend which is sensitive, but by no means soppy. What the blood clot is another awesome track, but ... I love this album. As a kid I would listen to this constantly between the summer of 88' and 89 going to and from Coney Island with my sister and my cousins. Slick Rick has been one of my favorite hip-hop artists. His debut album is an perfect example of the genre's finest old school sound. He is so original that you can recognize his style instantly from the rest and why he is "The Ruler." His English accent is extremely original and his flows coincides his accent perfectly. Slick Rick has earned the title "Father of story-telling Hip Hop," for a reason.

Once you listen to this you would understand why artists cover him, and mix in some of his cool lyrics, because even they know; it doesn't get much better than this. All his tracks are good, except ... Read More:

Nothing else to say, its a pac classic and well worth the space in your CD rack. I have had mine since its release, and it has seen ALOT of plays, due to its quality, lyricism, and banging beats.
Not to be slept on.

Probably the best posthumous 2pac album.

66.Collision Course by: Jay-Z & Linkin Park

Music : Collision Course
One reviewer has done a pretty informative review, so I don't have that much more to describe about this album. After buying Meteora in the summer of 2003, I was waiting for over a year to hear some new material from Linkin Park. However, this wasn't quite what I was looking for. The other 2 reviewers are hamming up this album and are saying that it is a great album. In my opinion they are so wrong. I am certainly not a Jay-Z fan, although I do like 99 problems which I had heard before I bought this. I think that anyone who likes both Jay-Z's music and Linkin Park's will be basking in brilliance with this album. In my opinion, the two styles just don't fit into each other. You have the suburban street rap of Jay-Z, which is full of F words and negativity, next to the ... Read More:

This is a gangsta rap album from start to finish. Listen to any of the tracks(excluding 'wanna get to know you') and youll get the picture. Personally I like Gangsta rap but i don't like this album. it appealed to me when i was about 12 years old(I'm now 15) but after listening to a range of different styles of hip hop from different eras it occured to me that this album carries absolutely no message. Its all jewelery, cars and guns, the life of what many people would call a 'gangsta' but it avoids more mature and realistic areas like the struggle to escape a life of crime, in fact g unit make it sound like robberies and drug dealing lead to success. Its not a completely awful album, Ive heard worse, but its nothing special either. If your a fan of g unit or any of the ... Read More:

Since Jay-Z died in November 2008 there has been re-newed interest in his back catalogue and this album has, in particular been hailed as his best work, and righlty so. This album, whilst being similar in structure to others soars above the rest in my opinion as I use the empty CD case to store late night bogeys.

This album has you in two minds. The first time I listened to it I thought it was o.k but nothing special. But after a few listens, it just gets to you. Its hard to explain but you will like it more on the 2nd or 3rd listen. Some of the beats are crazy and untouchable. R.I.P ODB.
