There is nothing I can add to what has been said before. I will admit that while I listened to radio 2 in the 70's-thanks mum & dad!- before I moved towards Joy Division & The Banshees I listened to your choice of music and I am extremely grateful for it. "Daylight Katy" and "Sundown" are songs that stick with me now in middle-age as when I was young. Bob Dylan was an icon for a generation but Mr Lightfoot caught my imagination when I was a nipper-listen to "If You Could Read My Mind" and tell me that Dylan wrote anything better and I would beg to differ....

This DVD includes twenty two of Queens's music videos and although there are some great songs included, most of the videos themselves are basically the band playing to the camera. The majority of the music on this DVD is from Queen's first Greatest Hits album with the addition of other songs from various other albums. As well as the music videos are also three live performances for the songs `Now I'm Here', `Love of my Life' and .We Will Rock You'. In addition to this the DVD also includes a few short extras about the making of `Bohemian Rhapsody' all of which were interesting to watch and quite informative. Great driving music from a band somewhat under appreciated in the UK. Buy it for Hollywood Nights if nothing else. Classic 70's/80's rock and almost peerless.

one of the most imaginative and seminal bands of the 80's,tears for fears created many near perfect electro pop records that have stood the test of time,its not often a duo who play fantastic music also has two outstanding vocalists aswell.its just a damn shame that it took gary jules's pretentious,awful cover of mad world to make people remember them.apart from depeche mode,pet shop boys and erasure tears for fears were the best of that scene.buy this now!

Being a fan of Faithless, it might lead me to being rather biased here when I say this album is simply the best album you WILL ever buy. Each song is fantastic in its own way, but I particularly like Why Go (featuring Estelle) and I Want More (the video is amazing!). Perfect for fans of slightly old-school not-too-heavy dance music such as Depeche Mode or more funky house style bands like Morcheeba perhaps. And, for under a fiver, it's an absolute bargain! You will kick yourself hard if you don't buy this album, I mean it!

It certainly lives up to its title! This is a must have cd for any fan of the band as well as anyone interested in more 80's and early 90's type rock. The music is good and loud without being annoyingly so and the lyrics just beg you to sing along. Some of the tracks are written by song writing greats like Robert John `Mutt' Lange (written for The Corrs, Shania Twain and many more), Diane Warren (do you need to ask?) and even Richard Marx! I have no wonderful words in my vocabulary to describe this album but I can tell you that it's brilliant and spent many days on repeat in my house.

This compilation covers all the 13 A side singles & 7 of their B sides during or after their period. The music is a mix of Country, Rhythm & Blues & Rock & Roll with a dash of Hard Rock thrown it & the Country Funk "Down On The Corner". The reason I'm giving this 3 stars is the fact that I'm not that into Country Music which nearly half the selection sounds like on here. My other gripe is that not all the B sides are here. Then again this got released on vinyl in 1976. On the other hand with CD technology (80 mins) they could of re-released it to include all the B sides. If you are curious about this band (like I was) I recommend this as a starting point. If you are a Countryish fan you can add to more stars to mine.

I have been listening to the music of Paul Simon since i can remember. What you get here is not a rebel, a follower of trends, a commercial artist or a controversial one. What we get with Paul simon is some of the most beautiful songs ever in the English Language, performed with the respect they deserve. As one part of the duo Simon and Garfunkel, Paul Simon wrote : The Boxer, sounds of silence, Bridge over Troubled water and Mrs Robinson to name a few. What strikes me as a surprise in this collection is how several of the songs here are of the same quality if not superior to the above. ie American Tune, Slip Slidin away, Still crazy after all these years, Kodachrome, Gone at Last, The Boy in the Bubble. Blink 182 were one of the first bands i got into because of my brothers. It was these sort of bands like, Blink, The Offspring, Green Day and Sum 41 that got me into the "rock" side of music when i was about 7 or 8ish. I'm now more into Punk Punk, instead of pop punk. But i cant slate this because it was my gateway band and i do still listen to these occasionaly. OK so its pop-punk, but who cares? It sounds good, their pretty darn good musicians aswell!
