I love Suzanne Vega - she is probably remembered by her more famous tracks, Luka and Tom's Diner, but her album provides us with a wealth of beautiful, meaningful lyrics and her striking and soulful voice. My favourites tracks are Fancy Poultry/ Ironbound and Language, with beautiful lyrics such as 'if language were liquid, it would be rushing in, instead here we are in a silence more eloquent than any words could ever be'. Lovely album.

This is their best album by far. Their is not one bad song on it. M Shadows voice is what makes the album what it is (class). Synester Gates has to be up their with slash, Jimmy Page, Angus Young and all the other great guiterist's thats ever lived his riffs are some of the best you will ever hear such as the one on seize the day you can never get sick of listning to what does with a guiter. Buy this album 10/10 My Favourite band of all time love them.

I cant believe people are giving this album such good reviews. Compared to Back in Black or anything earlier this is a pile of do-do. There are arguably 3 good tracks on here at a push. I considered this a complete waste of money the day I bought it and my opinion hasnt changed since. After Flick of the Switch (a good AC/DC album) they started having trouble keeping the filler tracks off the albums - this one is chock full of fillers. I would steer well clear there are so many better AC/DC albums.

Loved this album ever since I bought it in the mid seventies. All the way back then I had never seen a triple album before so really surprised this time round to unwrap the new re-mastered CD with its slim little jewel case) Bless...

Very happy to report the sound quality is a bit better, clearer and with a touch more body/punch. I was relieved because even though the album is a classic the sound was originally terrible (Especially after many plays on your record player) so it's great to hear it cleaned up. I had no trouble with disc 2 as some reviewers have stated...

All Yes fans will have there favorite parts from this recording. For me it is tracks like "Perpetual Change" "Long Distance Runaround" "Yours is No Disgrace" and "Starship ... Read More:

It could be that this was my first introduction to Hendrix, but I maintain to this day it is the best of the 'Jimi Hendrix Experience' studio albums. I say this for a great number of reasons.

First of all, lets assume you've never heard an 'Experience' album before, and want to dip your toe in the water. This album is a great place to start, as it eases you in with a nice gentle, yet sublimely funky number, before it crushes your head with Spanish Castle Magic. The album is like a gentle roller coaster ride of funky rocky highs, and gentle mellow dips, with an ease of access missing from the other two studio albums.

So that gets you into it, and opens your mind to the possibility of exploring Hendrix further. At this point you may be drawn ... Read More:

It's the first time I've revisited this album for a while. I don't really think of myself as a Green Day fan anymore, but this was the first record of theirs that I heard. I then bought them all up to, and including Warning (which I thought was terrible). I won't be buying American Idiot.

So I just thought I'd peruse the reviews while listening to it; there's a lot of talk of punk, but I don't see anyone mentioning The Clash anywhere... or any of Green Day's predecessors. That really shows the generation that Green Day appealed to. I'm pretty sure I was 16 or 17 when this came out, and it became standard listening for myself and all my friends. I started my first band, and we would cover Basket Case and Welcome to Paradise. So it was pretty important.

worth owning just for the 2x versions of "hear my train a comin..", let alone "born under a bad sign" or anything else on here..
the man was an alien, either that or the rest of us are such pathetic examples of human beings that no-one has been able to reach his heights since. and to think some people rate Bono.
woah..
just buy it.

Steve Earle music is best described as country-rock. The skull and cross bones that form the cover of Copperhead Road album warn of what is to come, a heavy mix of potent music shot through with the reflections of an wild young man who is older than his years. Inserts show a relaxed Earle, fag in mouth, black shades and dressed in denim.

A strong start with 'Copperhead Road' on which you can apparently 'smell the whisky burnin'; 'The Devil's Right Hand' refers to a pistol and though the song has a strange lyrical resonace it isn't until 'Johnny Come Lately' (on which the Pogues play) when the album begins to rock..

'Johnny Come Lately' tells the story of a soldier off to Vietnam who hopes to return to his girl in London and take her home to the USA. In 'Even Whem I'm ... Read More:
