This is not their best album, worth listening to, definitely. I would urge you to buy it but if it's a choice of different muse albums go for Black Holes and Revelations. Very good lyrics and the songwriting is upto scratch as usual. Still very good.

A truly 'rocking' live album with classic tracks, given the remastered treatment to maximise the experience. If you, like me, heard this album on release you will appreciate the sound clean-up it has been given and revel in the masterful rhythm, lyrics and guitar/drums work. The pulsating energy of the performance from AC/DC is unrivalled and makes listening to this live performance a fantastic experience. I know of no better live album, albeit that a few others do equal it eg Jethro Tull-'Bursting Out'. Buy this album and experience the true meaning of Rock !

I bought this album as a teenager in the 70's and never felt it was one of zeps greatest albums compared to Physical Graffiti and vol4 so unfortunately it was the last of the remasters that I bought. Having listened to it a couple of times it has quickly become one of my favourates. Its understated beauty really hit me and touched me particularly "tangerine" and the really beautiful "thats the way". Pity the packaging doesnt reflect the curiosity of the original LP cover. Buy it and enjoy!

Thank you CSI. Thank you very much. You give me to things I cherish in life. The Who and Gary Sinise. Amen. I can rant about how beautiful Gary Sinise is another day, but now, this is all about The Who. The Who. Who are they you migh ask. Who are The Who? How can you answer a quistion like that... They are maybe the best British band ever. They are unique. Sensational, brillaint and have fancy hair. (Not pointing at anyone, Roger. XD) If I ever met someone named Baba O'Riely, i'd tell her to stop crying, we all live in a Teenage Wasteland anyway... And The Who made that Teenage Wasteland a better place...

Izzy Stradlin was the main songwriting force behind Guns n Roses, particularly in the Appetite days, but never seems to get noticed. Even if you know GN'R well you may not know that Izzy has 9 solo albums available (including Ju Ju Hounds). Five are available on amazon and the other four are available to download. They are in more of a rock n roll style than the heavy metal of GN'R but there are some great songs to be found and the usual excellent guitar work is always present. Do yourself a favour and check them out.

What strikes me is how fresh this album still sounds after over 25 years. Fast, furious and different, I was only 7 when this came out, so can only imagine just how much this must've rocked the Bay Area scene in San Francisco. It does wear it's influences on it's sleeve, but Metallica were still teenagers when they recorded it (imagine any band today managing the same feat?) and you cannot help but be swept away by the enthusiasm behind the record. It pumps out of every one of James Hetfield's riffs, Kirk's solos (yes Megadeth fans, Kirk's, Dave may still be pissed off and claim Hammet stole all his solos, but c'mon, how much can you memorise without sounding imitation - Kirk shows true original talent) and Lars' drums (although he does sound a bitty amateur on this record). ... This album is brilliant. Ignore the negative reviews, this is a great album. The song Changes just reminds me of the awful cover by Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne so I do not like it, but the rest is brilliant. It's what you'd expect from the early Black Sabbath albums a great metal album with a bluesy feel to it. Best songs are Wheels Of Confusion/The Straightener, Under The Sun/Everyday Comes And Goes & Supernaut. Recommended to Black Sabbath fans. I like any Black Sabbath albums as I always enjoy Tony Iommi's guitar playing so no Black Sabbath album is bad. BLACK SABBATH ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

OK so what we have here is yet another dragonforce album,the thing with dragonforce is they are very much a marmite band,ie you either love them or hate them.I love them,if you don't stop reading this now and go and do something more useful with your time.The main critisism i hear about this band is "it all sounds the same" and yes it's all the same style of music and no they're not setting the world on fire with new innovations in music.But hey there's lot's of other peoples stuff out there that all sounds the same too,my answer to the plebs who don't like it and spend their time bothering to write reviews whingeing get a life,just listen to something you do like,i mean i don't like country and western but i'm not about to spend my time writing reviews saying how much i hate it durrr!!!! Being a rock guitar freak of two decades' standing, it is with embarrassment that I confess to only having heard this record for the first time in my 39th year. Clearly I went to the wrong school and hung out with the wrong, self conscious types, and stupidly we looked askance at this bogan rock. More fool us. What a remarkable, single minded, self-assured, exuberant record this is, and what a master stroke for a bunch of scot-inflected teenaged aussies to have settled on such a perceptively observed formula and executed on it so flawlessly (and stuck with it for the thirty years since!). All of rock's evolved extravagant frippery is discarded or reduced down to its elements. The drums mark out a thumping 4/4 on-beat; stereo guitars crank out a primordial syncopated boogie. ... I think with this truly amazing album MetallicA can now be forgiven for St. Anger every song on this album is truly amazing and it truly is a 5 star album and the fact that it's a heavy metal album and it stayed top of the charts in the UK for 2 weeks straight says something!!!
