Yep, Aerosmith have released many many greatest hits albums. I think this one has the best mixture of tracks of the lot though, a range of all their hits starting from way back. Some fantastic songs. Highly recommended if you've only heard a limited amount of Aerosmith music, as it'll give you the pick of the best of the rest, and you may well decide to look into their more obscure stuff.

About a month ago I stumbled across "Extreme" after watching a Youtube video featuring "Lil Jack Horny" as background music. After that, I done some more digging & bought their entire collection of CDs... These guys are just awesome and I really wish I'd heard their music sooner. "Saudades De Rock" is a terrific album and is even better when the volume is cranked up real loud. It has echos of "Pornograffiti" in some songs but, it's got a sound all of it's own when you listen more closely. To be completely honest here...it did take me a few listening sessions to really get into it but once I did...I was blown away by the opener "Star"! I'll admit that I'm not the biggest Motorhead fan but after hearing 'the thousand names of god' on Planetrock I decided to buy the album and am I glad I did. Motorizer is brilliant, not a duff track to be found and with every listen (and there have been plenty) is gets better and better, in fact it is getting more playing time than Metallica's latest offering!! So my simple recommendation is BUY IT NOW, you will not regret it.

I'm gonna keep this pretty short,in a nut shell this is the greatest rock album ever,riffs to blow you into the 22nd century,and beyound. Sounds as fantastic today as when it came out.

A new decade, a new drummer, a new producer and a pretty damn good effort from AC/DC. Production-wise, The Razors Edge harks back to HTH, BIB and FTATR. Bruce Fairbairn adds polish to the proceedings without being too obtrusive and the songs, whilst not being all-time DC classics, crackle along nicely. Standouts include Moneytalks, Are You Ready and, of course, Thunderstruck - probably the one bona fide classic on the album. My one criticism is directed at Chris Slade. Like Simon Wright, Slade is a perfectly good rock'n'roll drummer but he just doesn't quite fit into the AC/DC groove. He drives the songs rather than going with them. Very much appreciated return to Alice's roots. Great, sneering vocals and the band sound tight, as they should for they are his established touring band. Vengance is Mine is the stand out track for me, Typical Slash guitar work and it makes the album worth the money on its own, and I feel sure that it will be included on the live setlist from now on. Great stuff and I'm hoping that we see Alice back in December in the UK.

Both are strong albums, but where as Vol.1 is in your face Hard Rock/Metal , this is more experimental, dare I say, progressive! Estranged, Locomotive, Civil War are all GREAT, lengthy epics, with complex arrangements and musicianship. A really strong, (still) modern sounding Rock album.

This album has been out for a while now, so i have had enough time to let it sink in. When i first bought this album and listened to it for the first time, the thought that came across my mind was Amazing. If you like AC/DC then i guaranty that you will love airbourne. This album is modern but yet it keep its dignity of bringing back old rock! a great album!

Def Leppard outsold many band of the 1980s, and this compliation of their best hits proves why. Hits from the early years of recording, like "Photograph" and "Rock of Ages" are within the compilation, and are complimented with the hits from their biggest selling album, "Hysteria", like "Animal", and "Rocket". Included also are some songs from their albums in the mid 1990s, like "When Love And Hate Collide", which scored highly in the UK charts. Of course, their biggest hit, "Pour Some Sugar on Me" is the first track, so that will definately get any listener going. The band itself produces absolutely brilliant music, and this album clarifies the imapct Def Leppard had on the music world. I would also call this a masterpiece.
