right then this album rocks!!!!
in every sense of the word!!! the music is a bizarre mixture of metal and reggae, with a little punk thrown in here and there.
the reason it all works is this simple....the tunes are top quality. very groovy metal with more funk than you could banga a head at.
and then the real ace of the pack is the singer benji who is quite frankyl scary. the guy can hit notes....perfectly and beautifully and he can do the speedy ragga spitting and then just to scare the life out of you he has a scream that can knock down a wall from 50 yards.
put simply there really is no one else out there who is making music this unique or this well and the best bit is that the whole thing just feels so positive its ... Read More:

Since "Premiers Symptomes" means "first symptoms," it's appropriate that it's the name of Air's collection of early singles. This French duo created a warm sweep of electronica that sounded like a complete , which is only marred by two funky, rather awkward songs pasted on to the end.

"Modular Mix" kicks it off -- a dreamy song that sounds like the soundtrack for an underwater movie. "Casanova 70" and the languid "Les Professionals" add a lounge-y sound. And "J'Ai Dormi Sous L'Eau" and "Le Soleil Est Près de Moi" are sweet and slow , almost like a pair of trip-hop lullabies.

The rerelease of "Premiers Symptomes" was given a bonus -- two new tracks, "Californie" and "Brakes On." Well, they're a mixed blessing. They're ... Read More:

This album proved to me that Nas was, is, and always will be a cut above most other artists (in the entire music scene).

At the time in their careers where most rappers are either contemplating retirement to enjoy their lives with the proceeds of mediocre lyricism, or pushing half-hearted efforts out to bump up their bank balances and add another plaque to the wall, Nas gives us this classic. From the long list of quality albums he's made, this one stands up near the top, only being bettered by Illmatic. The lyricism is once again flawless, educational and not material-obsessed and misogynistic like other hip-hop artists. Heaven, Made You Look, Get Down: brilliant tracks, and the beats are fantastic as well, which is something Nas albums ... Read More:

A good album to have on in the background and listen to, and all songs are very good, however, they aren't as good a standard as Lemars other work on his albums.
Like all of lemars CD's, the sonmgs are good pop songs with good lyrics, excellent vocals and great backing, but none have the lasting power of his other albums!
A good album and reccomended, but get Lemars other 2 albums before this.
Although Soulman and the cover of 'that Darkness song' are both excellent!

Being a HUGE G-unit fan i thought i'd write a review.

This is a strong hard album, highlights include -track no 2,piano man,50's moving keys!! good vocals from Yayo, slick and smooth. Also Rider pt 2,is excellent, including vocals from the now (dearly missed) Young buck. Also track 6,you so tough is great.
Basicly if you liked beg for mercy you'll enjoy this.Is it as good as that album?,well thats a toughy, cos every track on beg was sick,if i had to choose it'd prolly be beg for mercy that came out on top.But this is stil defo worth a purchase.

peace.

If Enimem came from Wales, he might sound like this. You Knows It.

This could've been brilliant. It could've been ok. Instead it's just....

Imagine a bunch of twenty somethings, raised on the A-team, obsessed with The Bill and spliff and Primark, pretending to be chavs, dolled up in faux-chic Working Class burberry, and taking the piss. That's the glc, and youknowsit.

But who is the joke on? You? Me? Them? Everybody?

I have no idea. What I do know is that "Greatest Hits" isn't that Great, and doesn't have that many hits on it ; consisting of a selection of re-recordings of old songs taken from their first 6, lowkey word-of-mouth albums. The music is dull, anodyne, tired. The lyrics? With a handful of exceptions they ... Read More:
