The cd is pact with the summer songs of 1999 and some lovly ballads. But also containing some of the most cheeseist pop ever made stuff like lolly cartoons and vengaboys. The ballads came from boyzone Martine McCutchen Backstreetboys. This cd contains popular music from S Club 7, Geri Halliwell, Supergrass, Texas and Chemical Brothers. The cd is completly one of the biggest pop cds of 1999.

UK dancepop duo Moloko are in fine form in "Things to Make And Do," their third blend of acid jazz and trippy electronica. The talented Roisin Murphy and Mark Brydon create a charmingly erratic dance album that sounds like nothing else, yet never fails to draw you in. It opens with a peculiar piano solo, before kicking into the sexy sax-keyboard of "Pure Pleasure Seeker," and the ominously trippy "Absent Minded Friends." A darker note enters with songs like "Being Is Bewildering," which is technically a more "normal" song, a slow and rather melancholy song based on acoustic guitar and organ. There's something about Alabama 3 which reminds me of Fun Lovin Criminals, the sound they are creating is not necesserily from an authentic source. The criminals played upon non existent mafia links, Alabama 3 does american dark blues, country wrapped in a technoish sandwich, they just happen to be from Brixton, London. Does that matter, not really, it's created with theatricality, humour, knowing the genre inside out, it's hard to deny that with all the records they have put out, there is no loss of outlaw fun.

this is a great album no matter what others say about it. i am so very tired of gangster rap as it is very fictions and hyped up to promote materialism among young people among other things. up so instead i listen to fort minor. very good beats and lyrics. lyrics which i can listen to which has messages and talks about real life i can listen to fort minor over and over again without it getting old.

This was the first Now CD that I was fortunate enough to come across and it still remains my favorite CD. Looking back and hearing the songs now is a perfect way to remember days gone by. Some of the most popular tunes are on these discs, and they are compiled perfectly. I'd have to say that these CD's are ones that can be listened to without skipping tracks.

Modern day rap is something that, in my opinion , has been bred from the whole egotistical and mass of abusive songs that came from the early 90's. Big Daddy Kane is, ofcourse, an exception from most of this scene, but there is no doubt that modern day 'gangsta-rap' is heavily influenced from this scene. The less offensive, more casually and laid back 'rap' was often left oiut the mainstream equation, with the afore mentioned Big Daddy Kane and Will Smith leading the way through various sub-genres of hip-hop. Jurassic 5 are, ironically, descendants of this smooth, summer-esque 'beats-and-rhymes' mindset of music. Which, in this day and age, is truly a brilliant thing indeed. So, to the album itself. I had a gamble with this CD and it turned out to be amazing! The remix CD is really good and if you can get this for a few quid on amazon I would highly recommend it. There are some brilliant hidden tracks and remixes! Buy it!!
