Let's face it: the music in the film is brilliant, but this isn't the same music. Some idiot has has messed around with it and made it into some hip-hop/rapping rubbish. It's lost almost all what made it so good in the film. Consequently there's a lot of upset people out there who have found that the music on the audio CD bears little resemblance to the music in the film. Far better to make your own recording from the DVD; the two excellent songs are "Rain on me" and "He still loves me."

The roots have never put out a bad album. The 2 singles "Get Busy" and "75 Bars" are 2 of the best tracks of the year. Black Thought is on fire! Good production, top guests and the usual unique Roots sound. Definitly worth having, along with all their other albums!

I've just heard the Freemasons mix of this track and was blown away. Yet another anthem has been created. The guys from Brighton have once again taken an OK song and made it into an absolutely stomping classic. I guess Beyonce made a call for her old pal Kelly. I am looking forward to hearing this in it's full glory on the dancefloor. Miss this at your peril!

Brother was the first track that jumped out at me, then skipped along til It Girl launched itself into my brain, I can't stop singing it, so catchy but my favourite has to be the Shirley Bassey mix "where do I begin?". Being the owner of most of the top 100 albums in the chart this is my favourite album of the year, quite possibly of many years. You cant put it down, you have to play again and again. Sing along in the car to it at the top of your lungs and watch the other drivers smile. "Cos you're an IT girl, it could happen to you"

Got this album a few days ago. Really liking the contributions of Jus Allah. He complements Vinnie Paz well. Vinnie Paz is as usual very tight and seems at complete ease for every verse he spits. I feel that this album is slightly more mature than the other, with some deeper tracks on it. My fav track right now is Trail of Lies. I urge you to buy, download or steal this album.. peace

I'd really like to give this five stars. The reason I don't is simply that I'm still making my mind up just how good this album of Afro-Jazz with attitude is. I bought it on the strength of a live show at Paradiso Amsterdam and so far I think I've played it every day since! Enjoy then make sure you have his dad's stuff too.

This album is good. So good I might buy it again, It's that good. I can 100% recommend this album for anybody who likes hip-hop, Jazz, Rap, or anything Urban. If you are a fan of The Roots and don't have this album, label yourself the biggest cretin in the world and buy this album pronto. It is impossible for me to single out the best song; they are all 10/10 in their own rights. Sure, you might think that nothing is perfect, therefore this cannot possibly recieve 5 stars. It is perfect. Thats why this album recieves a "Riddick Seal of Approval".

I am a mobile DJ and I use this CD quite a few times during the same session, every thing fron Shania Twain to Coldplay. If you are looking for some song from 2000 then this is the CD. It also has the club tunes like Sandstorm - Darude and Will I ever by Alice DJ. I rate this CD very highly in my collection and would recommend it to anyone that asks about it.
