This 2-disc cd is probably one of the best dance cds you will buy in 2008

Paul van Dyk is a genius! To be honest, his mix of My House and South Beach was undeniably awesome
other favourites are "I Retro", "Freakshow Disco no.2" and "No More alone"

VERY GOOD CD
you MUST buy it!!!!!!

I love 80's music, and I LOVE Erasure. They are so flamboyant, well Andy Bell is anyway, and what a voice!! Vince Clarke is a favourite of mine, I loved Yazoo, Depeche Mode, so anything that he is involved with is always going to tick my boxes!! I have all the Erasure albums, and The Innocents Concert on VHS which is well worn out now!! They are just so entertaining, and their music is fantastic. 'Victim of Love' always makes me get up and dance, and I think 'The Circus' is one of the best protest songs ever, totally anti-Thatcher!! 'A Little Respect' is just superb, and as for 'Sometimes' well, it still has me singing at the top of my voice! I have liked all their music, I love their stage presence, their attitude, everything about them.

Some of Mobys' earlier work dates quite badly. This is not the case with Play it sounds just as fresh as it did all those years ago. This recording is like nothing you've heard before with chilling vocals and superb synths. When this came out it was like someone lit a fuse it seemed new people were "getting it" every week and it was THE album of the summer. You can listen to it now and it's just as moving as it always was. This will not date...

This is one of those rare albums that ticks a wide range of boxes almost perfectly. It's groovy enough to dance to, varied enough to listen, mellow enough to have on in the background to and detailed enough to withstand repeated listening. I keep coming back to this CD, and 8 years since its release, it still sounds fresh. It has to be in my top 5. Buy it now!

Throughout the decade of the nineties M- People grew into one of Britain's biggest dance bands and this album proves just what an electrifying and influential band they are as it includes some of the most memorable dance songs of the past decade. The band has an amazing chemistry combining infectious dance grooves with catchy lyrics and the powerful vocals of Heather Small. Overall the album is great and highlights the best moments of what has been a highly successful career so far. Although the band's style is not the banging house music you would hear in the clubs, it's slightly more laid back and is really a mix of dance and pop. The album includes upbeat numbers such as "Moving On Up", "How Can I Love You More", "One Night In Heaven" and Itchycoo Park" ... Read More:

One of the very few CDs in my collection I can listen to all the way through without skipping a track. Until you own this your CD collection is not complete, it is perhaps one of the greatest albums of all time, without a doubt one of the best dance albums ever, only Orbital and The Prodigy even come close and they released some stonkingly good albums

'Melt' and 'Storm 3000' are the personal favourites here but there are no tracks I dislike

Ten years and still going strong The Chemical brothers might just have come up with their strongest album yet.
We are the night is surprisingly fresh and full of ideas. The drums are as ever snappy, the beats lithe and unpredictable.
My favourites are the oriental-flavoured Saturate, the minimal electro-pop of Das Speigal (aptly named,) and the ambient, driving beat of Burst Generator.
There is indeed something for everyone on this, from the familiar dancefloor mover Do it Again to the beatifully harmonic The Pills don't work, guest vocalist Midlake sounds very much like Neil Young.
This record serves as a fine revindication of The Chemical Brothers place at the top of the British dance tree. Buy it!

Music : Technique: Collector's Edition/Remastered & Expanded
What a moment the unleashing of this music was on the world of New Order fans! This is one of the most important releases and collections of music released by NO in a career littered with important dates, career jumps, exploration and advancement. Well, at least under Factory.

There is nothing that can take away from the music that is contained in Technique, except hindsight. We can listen to this album now knowing that it represents the end of the classic period of New Order and the end of their involvement with Factory. It represents a goodbye and closure which is made all the more poignant by the fact that at the time we had no realisation that the passing of an era was coming about. I mean ok, we get 'World in Motion' after this, but while ... Read More:

Reclusive French electronica legends Daft Punk, delivered their finest moment with this classic album of house and techno.

Most young people will probably be familiar with Daft Punk after Kanye West sampled Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger on his hit Stronger last year. What they probably don't realise is just how influential Daft Punk have been on the dance music scene for many years and how many musicians have been inspired by their filtered electronic funk. They are genius at spotting perfect samples in obscure records and using them to devastating effect on big brash electronic stompers. Daft Punk's heavy bass and vocodered vocals were way ahead of the times when they released Homework and despite the more commercial success of 'One More Time' from ... Read More:
