Yes, how the rest of Europe like to think they can write a good song and win, alas it does not come down to the music, that concept died a death years ago. What we have now is in house back handers in the shape of vote rigging and crap songs that you would die if you found it in your cd collection.

With all their other albums, there are always tracks I really like a lot and some I'm not so keen on, but with this one, I like all of it. A good dancey album, from the brilliant "Galvanise" to the end. Stand out track for me is the brilliant hip hop inspired "Left Right". Most tracks have a slightly different feel to them than the rest, even though the upbeat dancey theme seems to run throughout. Great!

Terrible! The cheesiest, pop-like bassline I have ever heard. Recommended to all kids under 15 who think they're really cool because they like 'bassline'.

A terrible representation of this great genre!

Love him or loathe him, Oakenfold has had an indelible influence on UK dance music, particularly by taking it to a wider audience. This mix compilation brings together, for the first time, productions from every stage of his career, from early balearic remixes of The Cure and the Happy Mondays to trancey Cream Anthems and some of the rock-influenced dance sounds he plays today. There are even a few previously unreleased mixes of club classics like EBTG's "Missing".

It may not as cutting edge as James Holden or as subtle as Lee Burridge (both of whom I highly recommend to those with more underground tastes!) but it is a lot more listenable and accessible than the vast majority of dance compilations (and it's likely to stay in your collection for a lot longer). ... Yes, it might have been 2/3 years in the making.. but it was well worth it in my opinion.
As well as the 6 singles (including 2 which didn't chart), there is plenty of new material to keep both the old and new fans happy.
Goodbye, is a brilliant song, worthy of single release (although, their next releases will undoubtedly be from their next album...however many years that will take!)

I really wanted to like this straight away and after the rave reviews was dying to get hands on it..received today and the first cd is outstanding..was expecting the same quality on cd 2 and 3..CD2 quite electro , took me a few listens to get into but now quite like it, not instant hit like CD1..CD 3 very dark and twisted and if that's your thing then so be it but not mine...First cd is very reminiscent of old HK releases with uplifting vocal tracks, that's not discounting "Til You come back to me " on cd 2, however CD3 too twisted..Have not been to a Fierce Angels night and if all 3 CD's reflect that and I'm missing the point then I apologise ...quite a lot of new tracks compared to previous FA releases, however my own personal preferences are Beach House/Angel and Disco Heaven ... I'm not against pop/classical albums and artists per se, because I quite like to hear some of the world's greatest tunes given a good roll-over, but Vanessa Mae's contributions to the genre have always seemed far too forced and mechanical.

She is undeniably a gifted and technically brilliant violinist, and she is shown at her best when letting rip on Bach's Toccata, I'm A-Doun, Storm and Devil's Trill. However, Vivaldi's Four Seasons is such an overworked piece and the two movements included here are coarse and lacking in any musical feeling, certainly nowhere near the league of Kennedy for ostentation or Vengerov for warmth. And I'm sorry but her own compositions (Destiny, Aurora, Solace) are so bland they could be TV test card music.

Above all her singing voice, ... Read More:
