Pure pop perfection from the best thing to come out of Manchester since Georgie Best.
Oasis are the greatest rock band ever - a combination of The Stone Roses and The Buzz Kids.
Every song is a classic and equal to If Looks Could Kill, Ziggy Stardust, Suburban Rebels, Nothing Compares 2 U, Love Will Tear Us Apart...
Oasis are THe Beatles and much much more!!!

"Love Bites" probably falls into that "difficult second album" category of releases that have sent many bands on a one-way trip to oblivion. It's an easy forgotten album, being sandwiched between the pure energy of "Another Music" and the self-imploding, ecstasy adrenalin-rush of their final album "A Different Kind Of Tension". That's odd as the album contains their most successful single, "Ever Fallen in Love", which has deservedly moved into Classic Single Mansion.

The first thing you'll notice is the cover and lack of any design element. It's very, er...white. There's none of Malcolm Garretts' usual design flare seen on the bands singles and one album up to that point. If you're new to the band, have a search on the Internet for ... Read More:

Sia has a wonderful mesmeric quality to her voice. I, like most people, bought this CD off the back of her vocal performances for Zero 7. Although Colour the Small One is a decent enough collection of music, I have to say that I was disappointed with the vocal performance on this CD. It goes to show you that even the best performers need good music and top quality production a la Zero 7. If you are a fan of Sia's vocal talents from Zero 7, get Lady Croissiant instead. Her live performances are more confident and powerful. I hope she can bring this confidence into her next studio album.

I only got into Bloc Party about a year ago, with the release of A Weekend in the City. Before that, I was pretty much unaware of their existence, but thanks to NME magazine, which I discovered at the same time, and the popularity of the singles The Prayer (which to be honest I don't really like) and the song I Still Remember, I decided to buy that album. And absolutely loved it.

I therefore later decided to buy Silent Alarm, even though I was only aware of one song off the album, the amazing So Here We Are. I absolutely adored it. Having been raised on a diet of The Cure, Elvis Costello and Oasis by my father, indie music is pretty much imprinted on my skull and Bloc Party are one of the best bands around at the moment, if not THE best. ... Have given this album a good 4/5 listens now and my concern is its lack of depth and lastability.

It is certainly very cool and with the times.

Their image of bohemian, rugged trashy garage electro pop is very in right now.

Their sound has certainly lightened from the drudge and noise of their debut - possibly a little too much.

the songs here, although still sinister and dark - are more immediately engaging to the listener.

There is plenty to keep you entertained though - last day of magic and sour cherry are particularly good examples of their almost pop-like new style.

It all sounds good - i'm just not sure how long this album is going to entertain me for - I didn't like ... Read More:

This is by-far my favourite stereophonics album:
Superman: This is my all time favourite, it kick starts the album with a really catchy tune, the words though such as "Superman on an aeroplane sitting next to louis lane" is not anything i can relate to lol, but i just love Kelly's vocals it shows the strength his voice can go.
Doorman: Now this song i wasnt struck on when i first got the album, i thought it was a little too heavy with the rock n roll, but after playing the album over and over it has grown on me - i love the chorus where the guitar breaks down and Kelly's voice takes over, this song has got attitude!
Brother: i dont like the verses to this song but i love the chorus another rocky song.
Devil: Another all time favourite of ... Read More:

Ooh La La. 10/10
Lovely 2 C U. 10/10
Ride a White Horse. 10/10
You Never Know. 9/10
Let It Take You. 7/10
Fly Me Away. 10/10
Slide In. 9.5/10
Koko. 8/10
Satin Chic. 9.5/10
Time Out From the World. 9/10
Number 1. 9/10

This album at 11 tracks long, 43 minutes, is extremely short, could've been longer but the musical quality of this album is astonishing, perfectly flawless dance music. Though beware of "Time Out From the World" and "Let It Take You" because they are nothing like the rest of the album, "Time Out From the World" is the better of the 2.

OVERALL GRADE: 10/10!

'The Warning' was, if not quite a stunner, a bit of a hottie. This quite simply is not.

Why include three soul ballads if none of them is a patch on 'Look After Me' from the last release? These deathly dull tracks in particular bring the album crashing down. Other songs come across as in jokes and failed experiments - I'm looking at you 'Wrestlers' and 'Bendable Posable'.

The first three songs do show signs of life, 'Ready for the Floor' is a great single (partly due to the fantastic video) and there are other flashes of near brilliance in the intro to 'One Pure Thought' and the genuinely amusing spoken word section of 'Bendable Posable' - but at this stage of the game more is expected.

Make no mistake this is a huge disappointment. ... Read More:
