Some may not like the gritty realism of the Dwarves music, but i do, this record goes back to the roots of punk ie. lots of fast short energy filled tracks such as smack city. And brillant riffs in tracks such as dairy queen. Buy this album if your a punk fan

This is a great heavy rock album it's got a great vibe, it's an album for those of you who:

Don't hold grudges against band's with a vague nu-metal sound,
Like heavy rock music thats full of energy and anger but isn't as aggresive and miserable as korn.
Is uplifting and very easy to get pumped up to.

The riffs are very good each note/ power chord is perfectly placed, the songs are structured really well with each band member finding their own space in the groove. This album is for those people who would like linkin park if they didn't whine so much who would like limp bizkit if he didn't whine as much and want something that smashes through your speakers when you play it loud

Ok, One of my fave bands. This isnt essential for the die hard Ministry fans as all of these songs wont be hard to come by. Although there are 2 new songs, 'What about us?' and 'Supernaut' you have to ask yourself is it worth investing.I'd say yes for the collection istelf.. Less hassle of songschanging cd's around.

This CD charts the history of one of the best industrial bands, I'm a little dissapointed to see that nothing from Twitch made this album, but its tough to make a collection of 13 songs by a band of this standard.

For anyone hearing the wrath of Ministry for the first time here, my gosh you're in for a treat.

After Fear Factorys best album 'demanufacture', it would be hard for the band to release an album as classic as 'demanufacture. This album is not as good although it is only slightly worse which in turn makes this a great album. The album has a consistently good songs. The guitars sound awesomely menacing and driving and the drumming is rapid fire and precise. The vocals are good with Burton C.Bell screaming and growling along with some excellent melodic choruses. The melodic choruses fit in perfectly in track three 'smasher/devourer' and also in 'shock' 'descent' and 'freedom of fire' A good element to Fear Factory is the keyboard which adds a great dark atmosphere to the songs. It gives them an extra edge and it works really well. The turntable ... Read More:

For their 3rd album, the first one without Acey slade even though the band no longer has his talent, it still has the high standard they set when they first started out. Even though the band was struggling with their record lable, this cd proves that dope are un-stoppable, their talent is hugh, with virus working along side Edsel dope with the music side of the cd (as well as the lyrics for some songs)they have come up with a fantastic album that you can only proud to own!! All 13 tracks are killer tracks that you just want to listen to again and again! But the greatness doesn't stop their, Dope made videos for all the tracks on the cd and if you get the enhanced cd you get to veiw them all!!! ROCK ON!!

not to put too fine a point on it.. but this album truly explores the depths of human emotion.. by saying so, i do mean, how far down we can actually go... if "The Downward Spiral" is the prelude to the end, and "Hurt" the realization of self after the end.. well... rightfully so, Further Down The Spiral takes it a step further.. allowing you to bear witness, if only musically, to what comes after.. If hell had a soundtrack, it would be this album... and i'm not talking gnashing teeth, and the worm.. nor simply boiling oil and couldrons.. but rather the actual suffering, guilt, and pain that allow you to regret your mistakes in life... a clearer picture could not be painted.. nor symphony orchestrated... this may be your metaphysical trip of the ... Einstürzende Neubauten, the sound of collapsing buildings, point five on the Richter Scale, have never courted novelty merely for the sake of it, but they have always been open to innovation in every aspect of their creative process. And that might just go some way to explaining how after more than 27 years they still show no sign of tiring, no sign of losing their music-making vitality. Operating through supporter subscriptions, EN have pioneered a truly independent business model, free of the capital constraints of a record label. Instead, it is the fans that sponsor their creative endeavour, able to watch regular webcasts of the band at work and participate in discussion groups that analyse their music. But even if you didn't facilitate the creative process that ... Read More:

There'd been a certain amount of quiet expectation about this album as a spiritual successor to 'Psalm 69'. In the same way that album was led by anger at George Bush senior's war in Iraq, so this album was led by his son's crusade. The sad fact of it is that the lead track of this album ("No W" - No Dubya, a follow up to Psalm 69's "NWO" - New World Order) is probably the weakest track of the album. It samples heavily from 'Carmina Burana' (used much more successfully by Apoptygma Bezerk on 'Love never Dies'), and the listener gets the feeling that Al put so much effort into creating a worthy successor to his undeniably classic NWO that he tried too hard and it didn't pay off.
That's a shame, because the rest of the album *is* a worthy successor to Psalm 69; tracks like ... Read More:

Neurosis are one of the most reveared, respected and most influential metal bands that have ever existed in heavy music for many reasons. They pioneered the addition of electronic elements within heavy music in the early Nineties, there is still no band who can come close to sounding like them and their progression from album to album has been a spectacle to behold. From the early hardcore of Pain Of Mind and Word As Law to the dense tribal sludge that was Enemy of the Sun and Through Silver In Blood to the softer more contemplative and textural Sun That Never Sets.

The Eye Of Every Storm is obviously the next natural, logical progression from STNS, those who thought it wouldn't be are fools. Steve Von Till takes 80% of the vocal nowadays; his Tom Waits-esque gravelly voice ... Read More:

Cabaret Voltaire's Mix Up, was one of the most inspirational music I found at the time. Once I heard this, it opened up the love for 'the other side of music'. The choreography of sounds and rhythms creating a view of its own. Yes, like a soundtrack. The distorted sounds in the music gives it a rough edge, but beauty is certainly there aswell. To me it was the most inspiring music to start Super 8 filming at the time. Once I put on this Mix Up and Voice of America, the images bubbled up, and has been put on film (later used together with other experimental/industrial bands and was a start off for me working with modern dance choreographers). This music is so strong, that you will be in a Cabaret Voltaire mood for a while...at least for the day. Since music from the 80's is still a hobby and ... Read More:
